I enjoy browsing Gilt’s web site and always end up making a purchase. They offer timeless quality items that I don’t see anywhere else.

I’ve stopped using this app. The deals aren’t as good anymore and, mainly, the layout if the app is TERRIBLE. It’s so unnecessarily confusing. This is definitely not an improvement. It’s difficult to find things, there seem to be fewer sales/items for sale, etc. Not sure why they decided to overhaul the app but I prefer other apps to this one now.

Just purchased a variety of items for my new apartment, with several more marked for further consideration. I purchased quality items by favorite brands and saved much more than I spent. I’ve shopped Gilt for years, and it’s a go to for clothing and home furnishings.

I used to love Gilt and I still get on to browse but I won't EVER purchase anything without checking online anymore. Their advertising and sales are flat out deceptive. As an example - a sale was titled "OXO products, extra 20% off." I checked for a better price and on the OXO website itself, the exact same products were cheaper and they weren't even on sale!! So the price on Gilt, on sale, with an extra 20% off, was higher!?!? Feels like I'm being tricked. Disappointing to say the least. ALWAYS CHECK FOR A BETTER PRICE BEFORE YOU BUY!

The layout used to be a lot easier to get to Men’s/Women’s/home, now it’s so much more cumbersome and challenging. I guess that’s what the focus groups likes. Must have been all developers ??

This App had issues in recalculating my bill after the application of a coupon, which it had applied successfully. I had to leave my item in the cart and close the App down, risking losing my item since the transaction is timed. After two of these attempts, the bill finally recalculated. Oh yeah that free shipping on items over $99, well the bill emailed to me was 10 bucks higher than the bill I paid/authorized with Apple Pay. It turned out GILT ended up charging me the shipping after all. Not a good start in retaining this new customer. The things I bear for staying in style.

Gilt will sell you defective products and then refuse to accept them as a return or offer you any kind of solution! The way they handle their shipping is exceptionally frustrating. It is shipped through FedEx but delivered through USPS so Gilt claims less than 0% of responsibility if anything goes wrong, like when my items say delivered but they are nowhere to be found. Never using Gilt again :)

It is hard to understand why an app with so much potential in the shopping domain would not fix final checkout glitches. I am not all furious but I do feel guilty about having wasted a few hours trying to spend almost 700 dollars purchasing some clothes that I was unable to check out. First, it will error as credit card method not authorized and on retry it will say the items are no longer available. If you go back to item page, the item is available to add. Hire some good developers, Gilt. I think the UI and database are not in sync and the payment gateway is messed up. There is probably a good number of consumers like me that will stop using this app right now. Also, it would be nice if you could respond to consumer reviews or at least incorporate constructive feedback.
