Great browser plugin, terrible browser

I was so excited to have the opportunity to use the browser, I figured with such a great browser plugin their browser must be great... Disappointment comes in many shapes and sizes. I eagerly launched some Dumb Facebook link that I knew would be riddled with crap and pasted the URL into the browser only to be appalled by the amount of garbage still ruining my viewing experience. It's easier to just use incognito mode on my chrome for iOS app with a proxy to filter out all this junk than this app.

I've been using Ghostery's privacy browser for awhile now, so I was very excited to see this long-awaited update. Ghostery boasts the most robust library of known trackers on the web. These trackers exist on every site you visit... following your every move, compromising the security of your private data, and slowing down your browsing session. If you care about protecting your privacy or want to speed up your browsing experience, there's only one choice: Ghostery. Sure, it lacks some of the bells and whistles of Chrome or Safari, but it does what it needs to do: browses websites safely and securely. Thanks Ghostery for the update. Please keep them coming!
Does not use Content Blocker API

I assumed this app would take advantage of the Content Blocker API for Safari, but it doesn't - it's just a standalone browser.

Works as advertised, I like it and have used it regularly. Fine for content blocking/tracking. Needs some work on clunky interface, even things as simple as using the back arrow.

Its best feature is privacy control, I use it just for that. Otherwise it's a basic browser without a lot of options. It crashes periodically.
Great for reading news sites

I have been using this for over a year, since I got very angry at sites like Brietbart and other news sites that had so many pop up ads that my iPad would just freeze up. I now use ghostery exclusively to read my morning news. Great app!
New version is mostly fixed.

Working again! Thanks for the quick fix! On an iPad mini, rendering is still truncated in landscape view if you don't clear the tab first.
Best and easiest to use tracker and cookie blocker with controls. Well done.

Better than before, but still has a long way to go. Problems with bookmarking sites. Text flickers when trying to enlarge. Still won't load many sites.

Doesn't block ads or pop ups from what I can see. Giving 1 star because you have to or it won't let you proceed.
