My Canon Rebel T3i doesn't have a built-in GPS, so I was having to make a note of where I took each photo so that I could record the locations in iPhoto along with the pictures. When we bought our latest computer, it had done away with iPhoto and replaced it with Photos. This new program wouldn't allow me to add locations to any pictures that didn't already have them as part of the metadata. Geotag Photos Pro solved my problem. I've used it on three trips in the last several months, and it's added the location metadata easily and accurately to each picture. I'm glad to recommend this app to anyone whose camera doesn't automatically add location metadata to photo files.

It works... and sort of feels like that old vacuum that's heavy because it's super outdated but it works just fine.

i have been interested in geotagging my photos in Adobe Light Room, it is supposed to be very easy. I watched many videos by LR instructors but they always left some details missing, so i was even more frustrated. Then i turned to You tube videos. There was one video which guided me to this ap and gave step by step instructions. Voila the majic door opened and this ap is a genie! i love it. zk

I recently used this tool to geotag over 2000 photos from a recent vacation. My older DSLR and point and shoot cameras do not have GPS support, but with this app and the associated Windows application, I was able to tag all of my photos without issue. The app does not put excess drain on the battery.

Last weekend at Outer Banks showed half of all pix in middle of Pimlico Sound. Rest of pix scattered all over the Outer Banks but not where the were taken. Will be running a test this weekend.

I purchased this app a couple of days ago for the purpose of adding location info to my photos. The main feature for me was the Drop Box capabilities. So far the app won’t upload the GPX files to Drop Box either manually or automatically. I know it’s able to communicate with Drop Box since it created a folder for the GPX files when I first connected it to my Drop Box account. For the cost, you expect these features to work.
