GeoShred is paid iOS app published by Wizdom Music LLC

Best mobile synth instrument to date.

PMASH

Responsive with deep complex sounds. Extremely intuitive patch construction. No surprise that this app is the brainchild of the keyboard GOAT. Must have app for any synth player.

Awesome

Oldrumguy

This app is a must have if you need a true guitar sound don’t leave home without it. What happened to space wiz?

Desert Island Good!!!

Joaquin P.

I own 90% of the best IOS synths in the App Store and then some. If I lost them all and had to repurchase but only be able to take 10 to a desert island GeoShred would be one of the chosen few. A lot of synths sound good but over time I keep come by back to the most unique and playable. GeoShred and Animoog would be my favorite had to own. Other apps that I would repurchase in a heartbeat would be Animoog, ThumbJam, Sunrizer, Syntronik (full pack), KQ Dixie (because I have thousands of DX7 presets), Model 15, iVCS3, iM1, iWavestation, iMono/Poly, iMini, iProphet, iSem, and the synths by Yonac. Well, I went beyond 10, who cares...and I’m still trying to find a good drum app. So far Rock DM is winning, although I still have to try Drum Session and DrumPerfect Pro.

Serious Instrument

Aaaarrrgggg!

This is an awesome example of the evolution of instruments in IOS. So much detail and control and they keep making it better. Absolutely one of my all time favorite music apps!

Awesome Instrument

Fejj Doorednu

This has been the best developed IOS instrument and the recent updates have only made it better. For those that do not know Jordan Rudess should know that his passion is to make music touchable for everyone. You can just play away or you can go deep with the MIDI and MDE capabilities and presets that blow your mind as you dig into the settings and form your own sounds. This instrument is built for the music pro, but is completely accessible to anyone with an interest in starting to explore music. It is well worth having in your arsenal of electronic musical instruments.

An absolute dream come true

RG Piano Tuning & Repair

After toying with different synths and IOS apps for years this one takes the cake. It has added a whole new level of expression to the roli sea block I had just purchased a few weeks ago. This program has greatly enabled me to to play with one hand what used to require 2 hands and a pedal to do in live gigs without lengthy preparation. Thank You Jordan!

Geo Diatonic

halfcack

Thank you for pursuing this app. I knew it had potential beyond any app or keyboard. I wrote you last year that this app alone will be remembered as the best guitar simulator ever made. The new version with diatonic keyboard is way past imagination. We are going to engineer a compatible playing surface. Our vision is to use “flexible” glass. There's nothing to reveal at this time. It will not be like a Roli. What it will be is a solid glass surface strap on with heat sensing. It will sense the heat from the hand, creating instant depression no lag with the smooth solid feel of glass lacking bumps. The surface will be eye popping. Think of 3-D lightning. Manufacturing is simple. It is design and layout of the surface that is so wide open. More guitar presets if you have the time. Thank you Jordan.

Pretty Good!

Neumuzik

Provides a smartly laid out touch surface layout that’s great for both amateur and pro musicians to quickly hammer out lead lines and even perform live. Suggestion for the developer: Please give us more traditional instruments in addition to the bevy of wacky and weird sounds (most of which are really not to my liking). More and better sounding stringed instruments would be a natural fit for the interface (see the app “FingerFiddle” for some pointers on some very natural sounding orchestral instruments), but there are some VERY solid sounding electric guitar sounds in this app and I’d only ask that more work be done on the “chugging” muted pick sound, which almost never sounds right in Guitar simulations. Another suggestion to the developer: Please make it so we can “favorite” sounds and put those favorites into a folder or location we can find quickly and easily. With hundreds of sounds and no easy way to organize them, it can slow down music production... Thanks! There is a lot to like here, despite a few minor rough edges. Looking forward to more polish on the UI and organization. Great stuff!

Top Notch

Clurichaun

You can manipulate sounds on here and create some stunning and unique material. On my iPhone 8 it is a bit small to take full advantage of all of the features but on my iPad Pro 10.5 it really shines. One of the most outside the box, music apps out there and one that isn’t a throw away, you will forget about. Definitely worth every penny!

Amazing, but...

Man_from_zion

This is by far the best synth app I’ve ever played by far! But, please, add 3D touch control!! PleeeeeeAaaaase!!!!
