Can’t find written recipes

Useless app can’t find written recipes

Disappointed Says It Nicely

Mr. G2

Who’s driving this ignorance? Developers or their managers? Your USERS like something, why the hell would you change it?! We love the ability to search for recipes, and you want us to watch videos. I don’t think so! I’m deleting stupid kitchen! I frigin guarantee you, there’s a hidden motive to this foolishness. With the videos, advertising videos will follow! I ain’t buying it!!

You had one job...

Food.com was about recipes. So disappointed about the change. It’s fine to throw a video in about a recipe now and then but I’m not looking for a cooking show. I want a quick look at recipes and their reviews. And who decided to move from food.com to genius kitchen? C’mon! Food.com was golden. Should have made the Genius Kitchen a “sister site” and keep Food.com for recipes and reviews. Captain hindsight for someone high up. Will change the review if it ever improves. If I don’t delete it that is. Best of luck salvaging this thing. Make recipes great again!

Video cooking

Katsoma

I agree I don’t have time or interest in videos. Just show the recipe. Videos are good for tricky or unusual techniques but just waste time for ordinary recipes

App is a mess

Dave A Star

People use food apps for recipes and food plans, not to watch videos. The food.com app was so much better. Your search function for recip s is awful. I now have to go out to find a decent recipe app since I’m wiping yours off my phone. (you obviously do not understand how people utilize mobile food apps when shopping and cooking)

Ugh!

yo yoyo, yo

Sometimes progress is nothing more than advertising. I am beyond disappointed to find out that food.com is now yet another app for food network:( It stinks that you can’t access your food.com recipes without taking several ridiculous steps, seriously just make it happen. I don’t want to watch your stupid videos. I suspect that a lot folks who loved food.com, and it’s app, wanted nothing to do with food network. What a bunch of idiot monopolizers food network is. Boo to what you consider new and improved.

Will este for the update

Hrobateau

Exactly what juicejunkie said. I will stay tuned for the update because without being able to access previously saved recipes it’s just entertainment. Thanks for listening to our concerns.

What a disappointment

MotoChef

I’ve been a member since Recipezaar and the food.com was a good upgrade to the app world. This genius kitchen app is horrible.

Stinks

So I really liked The the food.com app. Simple, user friendly etc. I followed the instructions on that app to save my recipes here however my recipes are not coming over to this app. I don’t want to watch videos on my phone. I just want my recipes. Guess I’ll copy and paste them to another app. Very disappointed.

Recipes lost

This app is about shows. Shows are fine. Just know that. I can no longer access my recipes from food.com. Very disappointed. Hoping some updates with connect back to my recipe books that I’ve spent years putting together.
