5 Shiny AF Stars ??????

I just started baking, and I've been Googling all these recipes. Most of the ones I've found are on geniuskitchen.com. They're all really good, they're really specific, they tell how much it makes, and much more. When I realized there was an app, I thought I oughta check it out because it might make finding recipes easier. To my surprise, it didn't require a subscription, any payments, or anything. Plus, it had a TON of cooking shows, and for the first time, I was able to find the recipes for all of the things made. I don't understand why everybody hates it or thinks it's useless, it's actually really great. It's like Netflix for chefs and bakers, except there's a manual on how to do what's in the shows yourself. By the way, to quickly save a recipe in a show for later, just go to the end. It will go into your recipes tab and if you don't check on it, it will leave the red dot there to remind you later. It's really helpful.

Awesome videos!

I love the videos and the recipes! They are simple and easy to follow. They can also be funny, which makes it fun to watch and learn. I love it!!!

Very disappointing

This app is nothing like Food.com! I love the functionality of Food.com & can’t see myself ever using GeniusKitchen unless I need cooking entertainment.

Food Network how Do i get my recipes

Trying to sync my recipes is non eventful. Is adding recipes from Apple TV the only way to do this? I want the ability to add from other sites as well.

Terrible

Sewwhatsports

I have been a long time Food.com user and was very happy with the site. The change to GK has been awful. Recipes are hard to find and almost non existent on this app. I come here for choices of what to make with ingredients I have on hand, NOT a myriad of non-relevant videos. I hate to say it but in this case progress has been totally backwards and I will be looking for a new everyday go to food site.

Not thrilled

I loved my food.com app. Easy to use, search and discover new recipes. This makes it impossible to just look for a recipe. I tried to sync my recipes and didn’t work. Not impressed at all.

Cool app

Gtn99

The recipes are varied and straight forward and the various shows are great. I love the way it connects from what I watched on Apple TV and sends the recipes to my iPhone app. Genius!

Don’t have time for videos!

DrehR

I really liked the food.com app. I liked creating a shopping list from ingredients on sale in my area. It was a time-SAVER. The GK app is a time-KILLER. I have no interest or desire to watch people cook. If I wanted that, I would watch the Food Network on television. I’m keeping the food.com app until it goes away and deleting GK. Be upfront and call it what it is, a video app.
