I've used this app for several years, and it has mostly replaced the zumo and nuvi standalone units I also own. There's no simple way to see the coordinates of a waypoint/favorite. This problem is the single worst thing Garmin has ever done, as it removes the simple method of sharing a waypoint with a friend. It doesn't have enough map detail. It can't do a saved custom route. There's no way to manage the waypoints from a desktop. It insists on calling saved waypoints 'favorites' rather than waypoints. Note that all of these issues are shared with Garmin's more modern standalone units. It does everything else well, and does it with or without cell service as the maps are local files.

App content within the purchase too much, is not good enough, do not recommend you buy! If you really like, or recommend you buy Garmin navigation equipment is better. Online GPS, or use Waze it

This update would not work. I don't want to erase it or all my Trip Planner and Favorites will be erased The latest update for this app came out last week! It would not let me route long distance routes using my new iPhone 6s Plus (But the same software update did work on my old iPhone 5 using the same last weeks Garmin update) on trips such as: Atlanta, GA to Camp Meeker, CA Or Atlanta, GA to Fort Richardson, AK ( A trip taken by our Armed Forces personnel in change of station moves.) It said it the 2gb ram, 128 gb hard drive on the iPhone 6s Plus did not provide enough memory to run the routes.
Additional vehicle icons

Unfortunately, two updates later, and this issue is still not resolved.. when you click on additional vehicle icon options, it just comes up with a bunch of blank boxes.. The additional icons used to be in those boxes.. about 50 or 60 blank boxes pop up, with nothing in the middle... :-/
Extras are not working

This APP is not navigation. "ROUTE CALCULATION ERROR, NOT ENOUGH MEMORY AVAILABLE " for New iPhone7 plus? Then, What kind of Smartphone have to use? Always not available for Long Distance. Even from San Francisco,CA to Seattle,WA for just 690 mile distance. I really wonder why Garmin cannot fix it.
POI Icons Not Working

I have the app running on the iPad iOS 10+. Since whatever updates issued after Oct 2016, my POI icons no longer show up on the route - i.e. No gas stations, etc. The app used to show the name of the gas station. Now, if anything shows, it is just a little blue dot with no additional info. Any suggestions to fix?
Safe Mode and Map Updates

Just downloaded the newest map updates. Disappointed after reporting my home street at least twice that it is still wrong. Others have corrected. Google, Apple and Bing maps all report it correctly now but not Garmin. It is sad since the street is over 10 years old. Hopefully you will fix the issue of turning off safe mode after reading the CYA disclaimer; you still can't put in a location unless you are standing still which I find very inconvenient and very distracting and aggravating. This is true even if a passenger is trying to put in a destination or to go to something like nearby gas station or even the home button. Why give you an option to turn off safe mode but it will never turn off. It is frustrating that you can go to options and turn it off but it will still ask you if you want to turn off safe mode. Bad programming or a company that doesn't care about their customers more than protect themselves. Very frustrating!
