Selling my email address?

Preggy Meggy

Hi garden answers. Did you sell my email address? Within a day of giving you my address I was getting so much spam in my inbox all related to garden products. I hadn’t given my email address out for a long time before that so… Also, I just checked out their privacy policy. FYI “When you visit the GardenAnswers site, we also automatically collect certain other information about you. This includes the URL that you just came from, which URL you next go to, what browser you are using, your IP address, which pages you visit, what types of products you purchase.”

Not accurate

States results as a flowering shrub. It’s a tree that is well over 25’ high.

Excellent reviews the only question I would suggest is adding a little bit more in the definition regarding height with so that a person knows what to expect

Good identification

This app can identify your plant very good

Mostly accurate nowadays

Capt. Flint

We’ve used this program for years and it is generally good at identity of plants. Especially true if flower present.

Oak leaf identification

Gardener Ann

I knew it was an oak leaf. I wanted to know the type of oak. The match came back as an oak seedling. Very poor identification.

Don’t give them your email.

Personally I thought the app was junk. But the worst part was they gave my email to a million different company’s. I deleted the app 3 weeks ago and the junk mail has not let up.

Tired of Spam

App is okay and improving. Removed it in favor of another after unsubscribing to their email list only to find that they’ve shared my information with so many advertisers that it’s taking me months to unsubscribe to all of their email lists! There are other apps just as good for a few dollars and no ads! Worth it!
