Terrible first impression, technical difficulties galore

I signed up for a 30-day trial, hoping to get borderlands 3 when it came out. When I went to rent it, I was promoted with some kind of error message. It did this for any other game I tried to rent as well. In an attempt to troubleshoot this error message I deleted the app and re installed it. I forgot my login information which normally isn’t a big deal because of the password reset link. Except, I tried for 3 days to send the reset link to my email and it never showed up. On the fourth day, today, I sent an email to GameFly asking for help. Shortly after I received a password reset link without GameFly issuing a response. I reset my password and even received another email from GameFly saying I had successfully done so. Yet, when I went to login, it said invalid username and password..... this was obviously very frustrating as I may not be the brightest crayon in the box but I most certainly know how to spell. After raging on my phone and clicking the sign in option repeatedly for about 10 seconds, I was somehow magically granted access to my account and signed in. The cherry on top? I no longer have my 30 day trial, nor am I eligible for one anymore. Complete waste. I spit on GameFly.


Can’t cancel

You can’t cancel from the app and you can’t cancel from your phone. It says to go to the desktop but get with the times. We all don’t have desktops any more and it fails when you request desktop from iPhone. Horrible way to trap people into monthly payment

The app just barely even works. It crashes after almost any search or any browse. The app in its current state is broken, just use desktop. The service is solid, but it always takes a minimum of 7 days to turn around any game or dvd, compared to 3 with Netflix dvds. They claim that they use the same scanning system at the post office that Netflix does, but I’ve seen no indication of that being true.


Higher demand, should mean higher inventory

I have been a member for awhile now at 16 and some change a month it’s pretty annoying that any game worth playing is in a constant state of “low availability” to where you’ll never see it shipped. So you’re forced to wait and wait and wait while paying for a subscription and getting nothing in return. Then you cave in and select something with higher availability that’s less desirable just to make use of the money you’re spending for nothing. So stupid in my opinion. If there’s more demand, then have a higher inventory.

The website will show you which discs have fast return, which the app doesn’t. Also, the app currently has some weird stuff going on in how it renders the search bar, making what you type unreadable. Lastly, I can bookmark my queue and go straight there, so why doesn’t the app let me set a start tab/default tab?

Major “My Q” Issue

I love the app and the GameFly service overall but I have one major issue... Why doesn’t the app give you the option of having the pending games in your “My Q” set to automatically be placed in order by release date? I hate adding a game to My Q and then needing to manually move it around so it’s in order. I understand you may want games in your own order and that’s perfectly fine. Just put them in order by release date by default which makes more sense. I will add a game that comes out next month and it’s at the bottom of My Q after a game that ships next year so I then have to move manually...makes no sense. Please update, this is easily a 5 star app if this issue can be fixed.

Search part is not working.

There like a glitch or something on the search part of the app when you search for a game it’s like a circle or something and you can’t see what your typing in the box.
