Fixed and recommended until I got to the end

Hybrid213

Was fun until I got to the end and SPOILER You die if you don't pass a phobia check. Meaning if you roll with 2 dice a 7 or higher you lose...... No matter your weapons items armor. Nothing you do helps. I was going to buy more of your products but if this is how you interpret a choose your own adventure I'm done.

Brings back the good old days!

This game is awesome, it brings back the memories from the choose your own adventure type books I used to read when I was younger. After you guys fixed the re-roll combat bug I've not had any bugs. I played thru just fine on an 8GB 2nd Gen iPod. To the person who got mad at dying from losing a roll, choose your own adventure books had you "dying" all the time. That's why there's the feature of bookmarks the developers put in. I've played it thru multiple times and still haven't done everything to do. Great game. 5 stars, will buy more of your products. Thank you.

Great Old-School Gamebook Fun

A fantastic homage to the gamebooks of yesteryear, updated to take advantage of new technology with welcome features like bookmarks and achievements. Highly recommended to anyone with fond memories of the Fighting Fantasy series.

Expert App

Brings excitement back to reading. Dynamic gameplay while keeping the reading spirit alive. Like a video game you read. Phobia check is annoying, truly random luck, but overall great story and interesting gameplay. Chooses really matter to the story from beginning to end. Keep the gamebooks coming.

Shiny!

This is what every "Choose Your Own Adventure" book SHOULD be! We read along with Mike & Drew, of "The More You Nerd", and are so glad that we did. Great, stable, well thought-out App.

Exterminate a god!!!

SPOON!!!

What a great game! I couldn't put it down. I played it in about 2-3 hours, and it was fun all the way through. It has a great story and awesome gameplay. It was definitely worth the money, and I would suggest it to anyone.

Best one yet

Mickeyg42

Reminds me of the choose your own adventure books of my youth, meshed with DnD. Best thing in the app store by far. I loved the addition of skills, and am currently on my 5th play through to find the different paths. Please keep up the good work.

Frustrating

The game is written pretty well, and has a descent, sprawling story. The problem, though, is that for the most part, there is only one "right" answer for any choice you're presented. And, if you choose the wrong one, the game could just end with an abrupt and completely unfulfilling conclusion--i.e. you fail, game over. Combat is kind of pointless--just rolling dice over and over--and if you fail, that's it, the game ends: either restart or reload, which is okay in a video game, but in a text-based narrative, I don't like hitting a brick wall and having to start over. I just really wish in games like this, instead of choosing wrong and having the story end, the story changes in response to your choice, but continues in a logical way to eventually reach a fulfilling--though perhaps not ideal or happy--narrative ending.

Much fun!

Totally addicting! Well written fun.

Aaaack! VOLUME!!!

Spark 82

I enjoy the App, but it nearly made me deaf! It put my earbuds at FULL VOLUME to start the program (and I was listening to my own music at the time). I cannot tolerate apps that alter my ipod's volume. I prefer keeping it low or even muted. So, good game, but VERY BAD volume issue.
