Beautifully done, I played the original but all puzzles seem new to since so much time has passed. Hope they continue the series.
The plot and the gameplay are great. However, a lot of bugs are frustrating. Not only the animation is weird at times (characters moving backwards, heads flying off etc), but I also have quest objects disappearing or the order of events getting broken. Not great for a game that’s more than $10.
The Steam version has achievements. Is it laziness not to include them in the iOS version? It feels like part of the game is missing and that's unfair. Please fix this in the next update.
Who in the world chose THAT guy to voice Gabriel Knight? Can't stand it for a minute, I'm out.
It's my favorite adventure game of all time and the iPad edition remains amazing! I totally recommend it to everybody.
Only Day 1 is free, and it only takes about an hour to complete. Ripoff! Clunky controls. Interesting story though.
You cannot miss this game. This set the bar for adventure games in the early 90's. Only thing missing from this updated version are the original voice tracks. Hopefully the two sequels get the same treatment.
