The app has been messed up for awhile now, and the update didn’t fix the main issue: it won’t log in. I’ve tried again and again. I installed the update. Same. Thing. Keeps. Happening. I prefer the app to the website because I do almost everything on my phone. Please fix this major issue!!

Oct 2018. I used to love FD and their app - so much I renewer the annual free delivery subscription option. Something has changed in the past few months. I’m having lots of difficulty putting items into my basket, and they removed the direct access to a customer service phone rep. You now have to say you’re having a delivery problem or have a problem with the order to received to speak with a real person. So frustrating all around.

I can’t connect in my account

For the past 3 update I can’t connect to my account! A popup says that I have no account, my information don’t match any existing account!! Then I open safari, I use same user and pass and magically I have my account again!!! I changed the password twice, still the same problem!!


Beware of stealth charges

My first 2 fresh Direct orders were satisfactory. The delivery was on time and the delivery people pleasant. But after my third order there were mysterious charges from fresh direct appearing on my PayPal account that I never approved. One for $12:99 then an order I never placed for $140 . It’s to bad I liked there food but they can’t be trusted

I have used Fresh Direct for over 10 years. In the last year and maybe two, they have been terrible with service. They are always out of items and don’t tell you till the day they are coming, my order is consistently missing items that were supposed to be there, and they are basically very inconsistent. I am afraid to order from them if I am having a special dinner, as I can never count on my order being complete. Their delivery people are mostly wonderful and their delivery times are mostly adhered to. They are always very nice in the phone and offer credits for missing food as well as for aggravation, however I don’t want the credits. I want my food order delivered IN FULL. I hate to say it but my patience has worn thin and I think my relationship with Fresh Direct is about to end. I encourage anyone looking for a reliable food delivery service to look elsewhere or be prepared to feel as frustrated as I do

I love the products I receive, everything fresh. Yesterday I was on my way to having a ambulatory surgery...I had arranged for meals for my family as I was having hand surgery. When I reviewed my order in the car taking me to the surgery, it was about a third of my original order. The APP IS AWFUL.... UNRESPONSIVE, Couldnt locate one of my usual addresses... I had to call customer service and email. In the end I received a $20 credit toward my next order... Unless the App is upgraded and reliable, I won't be using it.also had the same problem about the delivery times...by the time you finish the order, there are no delivery times available! PLEASE SAVE FRESH DIRECT!!!


Multiple bugs...

I’ve been happy with the iPhone version of this app and decided to give the iPad a try. On just the second use, I get the following bugs, rendering the app unusable: I switched from the “Me” tab to the “Shop” tab and it cleared out my cart (Luckily my items were still there when I checked the website) My reserved delivery time didn’t show up when I clicked on the “Delivery Times”, instead I got a null pointer exception. I did have my delivery reserved properly when I checked on the website and iPhone app. Can’t change quantities of items in cart, but I can delete an item. Also, a gripe I have with both of the iOS apps is that the Chef’s Table Exclusive Deals don’t show up anywhere so I have to use the website to check them out. I’ll be going back to ordering online and on the IPhone, and checking out a future update of this.
