Please add IFTTT functionality!

LBandBear

I love my watch but only a couple of the button functions are very useful to me right now. On my old Android I loved the “ring phone” option but that doesn’t work anymore for some reason my iPhone. The biggest easiest improvement Fossil could make to the app though is to add IFTT functionality! If pressing a watch button could work as a a trigger for the IFTT app then the watch could, in a sense, have hundreds more things that it could do, just by adding that one feature! Please consider collaborating with IFTT to add this feature and then this watch will be perfect :)

Stopped working

It’s only been a year since I bought my Fossil smart watch and it doesn’t work. The battery gets flat within a month. The times are wrong. I don’t understand whats wrong with my watch!

Love it! But needs work

Im in love with this watch. Im an optician and recently we made a huge purshase of fossil frames and as a gift they gave me a fossil q hybrid watch... i have it for a week now and im in love. But! There are some features i miss and love to have to make it whole, things that i think are easy to add. As an optician i use the timer on my phone a LOT! so it would be nice to have that feature in my watch also, so with a button i can start the countdown... also... a snooze feature for the alarms, cause sometimes i put an alarm to remind me to call a patient for example but at the moment the alarm goes off im busy i could postpone it... the ability to put name to the customize goals and maybe the ability to track every single goal by its own... that one could be more difficult but ypu get the gist of it. I really think that what u guys are doing is super cool but a couple more things would make it awesome... i hope you sometime take at least one of my ideas

Fossil App

The fossil app paired with my Virginia fossil works great. I like the feature of a smart watch with the nicer look of the watch. I love all the features and it’s easy to use.

The new do not disturb feature is insanely bad

在家?这么、一直到时候再说吧。

Don’t know the reason why I need to set up my phone and the app to do not disturb at the same time. The last version setting the do not disturb according to the phone setting is awesome. Get it back!!!!!

Lacks many advertised features

My Hybrid watch works great. This app works for what it has - which isn’t much. It needs improvement in the area of usefulness. Biggest problem 1: there is an incredibly limited number of apps that can be set within the app for Hybrid watch notifications. You can only have your watch notify you of apps on a preset list that is 55 strong - 55 relatively obscure apps (some of which are no longer apps, like Google Inbox). This excludes many basic apps, such as Reminders and Clocks. I’m not sure anyone on a normal schedule gets more AirBnB notifications than Reminders notifications. What an effective way to handicap the usefulness of the Hybrid watch. Biggest problem 2: beyond the ridiculously stunted app support, contact notifications come with their own problems. You will not receive notifications for contacts with nicknames or emojis in their contact name. You can fix the nickname problem by disabling the “prefer nickname” feature, but that of course would make nicknames completely obsolete on a phone anyway. This means that although my phone has my wife’s full name in it, because she had a nickname I will not get notifications on my Hybrid watch from her. Or my parents. Or any of my close friends. I can only receive notifications from such contacts using the generic notification option - so much for useful contact notifications. I appreciate the developers who work on this app and imagine that they must be working hard, but this app brings little usefulness to my watch or my life. These are basic problems that need solutions. I’m so glad I can get watch notifications for Shazam and Venmo and Square Cash, but apps like Ring and Reminders and Health would be so much more practical. Hybrid watch value is held back by these problems.

Can't Do Anything

Doesn't sync. Tried all the "fixes" suggested. Didn't work. Deleted app-paired new watch-doesn't sync or customize.

Sync problem

Bfresh5

New app, but doesn’t fix the problem of having to manually re-sync my watch to my phone when I go out of Bluetooth range for a bit then come back. Annoying, therefore I don’t wear my watch much anymore.

Lacking major improvement

Plz fix the bugs!

I’m new to smartwatches, and the hybrid really attracted me due the limited connectivity and look of the analog watch. I have a major disappointment though...you have to wear the watch in order for it to track your sleep. I know other apps can track it from your phone...so why can’t this one? And if that doesn’t work, what about the option to enter data points manually, both for sleep and the other tracking features? You can delete points...but you can’t add them. I hate wearing devices to sleep, and if this was fixed I think it would attract many more people.

4.0 version is awful, loved the old version!

I loved the old version- it was easy to use, clearly showed everything I was looking for, and never had issues. The new update is in an awkward layout but worst of all takes FOREVER to sync- and often crashes after waiting for forever. It's so much worse and such a disappointment. It still has several great features but I wish they had kept what was working well!
