This used to be the best app for Foscam cameras... but with all of the iOS updates and the lack of updates from the developers (it hasn’t been updated in 3 years), it is hard to recommend

I have used this app for years even through the past few years of regular crashing (pretty much once a day). I keep hoping it will be updated (last update in 2016) hoping that will fix the issues. Developer, please consider an update.

Purchased this app years ago and always worked flawlessly until a couple of months ago when it quit. Nothing now but “ Unknown Error “ message. Have contacted technical support several times explaining the issues without any response. I have been using a different app that works fine with all my cameras and I am using exactly the same settings with both apps. Wouldn’t buy an app that doesn’t work and without any help to fix it!

I have 4 Foscam IP cameras, & had a free app that allowed recording, but then it became obsolete. All of the features on this app work fine, & the viewing is good, but it never sent a request to my phone for permission to access the microphone & camera. Following the instructions, I went into my phone privacy settings only to find Foscam Pro wasn’t there because it had never sent the request. Deleting the app, reinstalling, setting up the cameras again, & going through this whole process countless times, I finally emailed customer support. I never heard back from them! So, I have bought another that works just fine.

I have had this app for years and it has worked great! I can still see and hear everything but it won’t let my camera access it. It just doesn’t give me the option. I can access through my iPad. But if I wanted to record on my phone I wouldn’t be able to.
