Seriously?

C'mon Fortune, this is considered an upgrade? This version is slow, glitchy and off-putting. Did you guys test it before releasing it - the answer is obvious. Been reading the magazine for decades and this version of the app makes me want to go back to the paper version. I hope the bugs are fixed soon otherwise I think you're going to lose some loyal readers.


The new version is terrible

The new version gets rid of all the good things of the old one and it is in fact a downgrade instead of an upgrade. There is no menu to go to specific sections any more and you cannot save favorite articles. And it is so hard to use. I really don’t get why Fortune chose to do this terrible change of the well working previous version of the app.

Still hard to believe how this app got messed up. I read all the complaints about how it doesn’t remember your place and it’s still not fixed. Despite the promises that it will be. Why can’t you fix this? Read the complaints. I am going to quit Fortune soon if this is not fixed. I have been a subscriber for over 10 years. Still disappointed

Fortune app is filled with bugs asks you to re-login almost everytime it opens. It still doesn't work. Am going back to print!

I could not download Dec issue on my iPad Air 2. I reinstalled a number of times, but no go. I found my December issue had downloaded on my other iPad (an iPad Air). In desperation I purchased the December issue....and I could not download it either, but I paid for a SECOND ISSUE!! This new format does not allow contact with Apple or publisher for problem resolution.


New interface is much worse

The previous user interface/experience for this app was excellent. I often recommended the app to friends and colleagues as an example of a well done magazine app. The recently implemented interface changes are an enormous step back. I hope much of the previous user experience comes back or I will not be continuing my subscription.

I use digital for good reason. The new update (that I foolishly only just installed) makes it a pain to read. I just can't be bothered, I'll go somewhere else thanks.


Fortune should read some of its own articles

Every time I read an article including the latest one about craftsmanship and design it makes you realize the paradox of how far the app is from it. Every basic feature such as “picking up from where I left off” to basics of how the app loads are painful. App used to work and it was perfect. Offline issues. Easy to traverse. Now it keeps gettin confused between online and offline. Getting it to work is a pain. They should read one of their articles on execution. But I will wait for the standard developer response on how they will release a new app.
