Good first effort!

Improved tracking for fingers and Apple Pencil on the iPad Pro plus the addition of kerning pairs would make this a great utility!

Hmmmm

DND1226

Love the idea, like the layout, easy to use…if it wouldn't crash, crash, crash! Would like to insert hand made font here, but am stuck with this font. Would really like to see this work!!! If it worked as designed I would rate 5.

Doesn't work

Firebirds7000

I draw the font and when I go to type it only one of my letters I drew shows up, the rest are normal looking. I read and followed the directions to a T, so I'm guessing it's a bug or glitch or something. Anyway I'm deleting it as it is useless to me.

Fun but useless

MusicJoy

The text function doesn't work and in keyboard function only sends pictures. You can't even make a picture and save it without a screen shot. Fun make your own fonts though

Horrible strokes

pbpshop

At the begining it looks like an interesting app except that the strokes are really hard and not smooth. But the worse is when you save the font, it destroys everything you did and all the time you spent ends in a horrible, squarish font without the real shapes you draw. Really bad app, that's the reason why it's free. And no, it is not the first or best app to make fonts on IOS as the creator states. There is ifontmaker... sorry but *that* is an app.

????

I really like this app because it let me create a fairly accurate font representation of my cursive. --You can install the fonts created with this app in iOS with an app called AnyFont. ????I can use the ttf file in iOS or any other OS(allOfThem) that supports ttf files. I'd like to be able to connect my cursive letters. An example would be the word curve. My lower case v ends halfway up the character, but the e of my font starts at the bottom. This makes the font less accurate because it doesn't flow like my cursive would. I'd like to see a feature added to install the font directly into iOS from within the app itself.

Good idea but

Epicnateman00

OK so I love what you can do with it but there's a problem as always. When using it I ran into a problem when I was using it to create a new font it would copy what I wrote to the next letter, or thing which got annoying. Also while doing the strokes the thing would be a little spotty. The final problem that I had is that the keyboard is a little weird.

Great potential but...

So this app is a really great idea and I hope that it develops far more in the near future. I have to stress the fact that I'm really grateful to the maker/s of this app even though I don't feel that the app has been fully developed yet. There are also some bugs in this current version as of July 2017. So, what are the positives? It's a very straightforward interface, you draw each letter and symbol, one after another. It's simple enough for most to understand or learn quickly. Very therapeutic as many right-brained activities are. The font created can be installed on your iPad and used in Pages and such. What are the negatives? The pen to draw with is really simplistic without much option. You can basically only choose the thickness of the pen. You can't save a font you're working on halfway through, you're basically forced to finish your creation in one sitting or you will lose the font. There are bugs which can make you lose your progress completely - extremely frustrating. The things that need to be addressed immediately are the bugs, that's what prevents this app from being anything above 2 stars really because it doesn't always work properly. A couple of more tools/pens would elevate this to a genuinely useful/powerful app that I'd be willing to pay for to use. So I actually really like the app, simplistic though it is, but the 3 stars are extremely generous because I hope that the bugs will be worked out and perhaps even get an update that adds another tool or two. Great potential!

Sends in pictures

If using their keyboard while texting you have to "copy" your text and then paste above in the actual send box. Copying doesn't copy the words but it creates a picture to send. It looks sloppy, and takes quite longer than necessary. Other keyboard apps allow you to type inside the send box, but you can't create your own font. Overall I think the app is improving over time, but right now you give up speedy texts for cool fonts.
