This app would be great if it didn't have another pointless subscription. I'd happily pay $5-$15 for this app, one time. But I refuse to pay monthly for pretty much any application that isn't a service and this font creator isn't a service. It's just an application that will never offer enough changing and new content to warrant or justify users paying monthly and paying indefinitely for a simple font creation tool. That's a ridiculous proposition. Too many developers today are getting greedy in my opinion and expecting customers to have unlimited money and to pay for their apps forever. It's just greedy and reprehensible if you ask me. Not to mention that I'd say it's quite unethical as well. You're free to demand monthly payments for this font creator. But you'll never get me to throw away my hard earned money in such an asinine way. Only the naive or foolish would pay forever to use a font creator tool. Just how much money do you developers think we all have that we can pay a monthly fee for every single app or game we download? It's ironic too, because with all these developers jumping on the subscription bandwagon. Developers such as this one are actually seriously hurting overall app sales and downloads. If every application or game demands you pay monthly for them like this one. Well, it is not hard to deduce that on the whole customers will download and pay for way, way, way less applications and games from the App Store if they are forced to fork over monthly payments for every single app or game on their device. No one can afford to do that. So, in the long run you're actually hurting your own app downloads and sales and hurting the iOS App Store ecosystem as well. Apps are meant to be sold for one single price only. Again, they are applications, not services. You could never hope to offer enough new and constantly changing content here to justify your customers paying you monthly and paying you for the life of them renting this app. The occasional update or new feature doesn't warrant paying indefinitely to essentially rent this app. It's avarice to believe this app deserves that type of payment and, again, it's only hurting your possible profits in the long run. It's remarkable how so few of you developers actually can see this truth. I guess the color of green just blinds you to this cold hard fact. The more App Store developers that demand a subscription for their program, the less likely people are to even look at an app, let alone download it and give you money if you're demanding payments forever to rent your font creator. This is just is simply deduction and actually basic economics. I can't remember the name of the app at the moment. But there is a superb font creator program for the iPad. And last I checked it only asks you to pay one time for it. At least it did back in the day when I purchased the program. It's actually quite an amazing tool in my opinion and offers everything available here and much more I believe. I'd highly recommend that app instead if you have an iPad. Maybe it's called "iFont?" I just cannot remember right now, sorry. But if you search "create font or font creator" in the App Store on your iPad, you should be able to find it hopefully. If this developer ever comes to their senses and charges a one time price for this app instead of a ludicrous subscription. Well, I'll be happy to pay for it and also revise my review accordingly. Until that happens, though, I definitely would not recommend paying monthly and wasting your money on this program

Really fun and exciting during the creative process, but can’t read my lowercase “g” very well and inserts an extra space around it in every word. Also, this is an app where the subscription model is EXTREMELY irritating. It is like being charged for the use of a paint brush and then being charged again every time you look at your painting.
Get iFontMaker instead!

Welp, I guess I missed the fine print from the start... but I just spent a lot of time creating a font with this app only to find out that in order to use it, the company can access all my data... including personal info, stored in my phone, and anything I have ever written (like credit card info!) or will write in the future using the font. Horrible.

It’s fun to design different fonts but then you need to buy and not just one time fee...monthly! Spacing of the letters is off. Some are too far apart. Even the line spacing is too big. I bought it just for a month to see and it said it was successful but immediately after an error in purchase. Nothing changed in the app after the purchase. It still was asking to purchase. It happened twice so Now I’m afraid I’ll get charged twice. Fixing the issues and maybe adding calligraphy pen it might be worth it as a one time purchase.

This game is a great concept, making your own font and all, but what is so annoying is that YOU CANT EVEN USE IT NORMALLY IN TEXTING APPS! It’s so frustrating that all I get it a PICTURE of my message, not an actual message that I want to send. Please fix!! It would make this app WAYYYYYY better.
