I spent over an hr (don’t judge) on a font and I was fixing it when the screen took me back to the homepage

Once I completed my font and “subscribed” I was unable to implement my font into any user interfaces...?

I just got the app today, and I love it so much! But there is a humongous problem. (I may be exaggerating.) Anyway, I have a font called Tiny Dancer (the font is literally SO tiny) and if I type the word ‘basketball’ it looks like this: ‘bas ketball’. It’s terrible. All of my k’s are separated from the beginning of the word. And same thing with my font ‘Big House’ ( it is also SUPER big) and all of my d’s are separated from the beginning of the word like this: ‘ sa d dle.’ I hate it. I do only have three fonts and I am very ?. But overall I love the app. And there is another problem I have with this app. I think it is very unique to have the buyers swipe to make their next a letter, it’s no promplen for me. ( Since I am right handed) but sometimes I swipe wrong and I press the arrow to go to the menu of the app. And I lose all of my work! I was almost to the end of all the symbols and I just lost it all. Thank you all for reading this review and ,creator, please do check these things to make sure you had programmed it correctly! Bye!

Bait and switch

After I spent 10 minutes entering my font, I was informed I could only use it and save it if I paid 4.99 PER MONTH. What crap. Tell me up front that I’ll need to pay for a “free” app. I’ll pay upgrade fees, but I’ll never get anything from this company again. What business ethics have become. None for these people.

I am disappointed with this purchase

Grew up 90's

I was so excited at the idea to be able to create my own fonts. In the description in the App Store it says the whole bundle is $4.99 (the cost of the app) and that covers being able to create, share, and use the fonts. So I downloaded the app and come to find out it’s an additional $4.99/MONTH to do all of that. Very disappointed!

This thing needs more languages.... all there is is English, Vietnamese, and a few others...

Good, but a bit misleading.

Good app, but you have to pay to download your font. I’d be fine to pay for the font, but they let you create your font (spending a good amount of time) without explaining that you will eventually have to pay for it. I felt mislead, and because of that I did not purchase the font I created. I also think that a pressure sensitive setting for integration with the Apple Pencil would be useful.

This little app is quite amazing. Simple but allows the common doodler to create our own fonts. But then comes the downer. You have to subscribe monthly, or per font or otherwise. Takes the fun right out of it. Why not charge for the app one time and then charge a fee for extras that you could provide such as brushes or other tools. Come on !!
