In Box - Out Box

Gregster62

This is a wonderful app which really helps me to organize my life! However, I would like to make a small suggestion for improvement: it would be nice if, just as there is an inbox, there could also be an outbox. When one finishes an item, one could drag that item down to the outbox icon. This would serve to get that task out of the way, leaving only those yet to be accomplished visible in that particular quadrant. It would also serve to have a place where I can see all of the items that have been accomplished today. Then, at the end of the day, I could delete all of those items at once by tapping on an icon; or, alternatively, I could manually delete them one by one, perhaps dragging some of them back up to another quadrant for tomorrow, if it happens to be an item that I repeat each day. I hope you can make this change! Thanks a lot for a great app!

Best Eisenhower Matrix for Apple Products

scubaninja

Hands down, this is the best Eisenhower Matrix task manager I’ve found for Apple products. The seamless cross-device synchronization really helps with getting focusing on tasks where they need to be done. My only wish is that I could easily import or paste a pre-existing list of tasks into the inbox.

Almost Perfect

Simple and easy to use while illustrating exactly what you need to prioritize. The pro version offers great features as well. Only thing that it seems to lack is an ability to archive competed tasks as opposed to completely deleting them from the app.

Update for IPad Pro?

Love the app, as I have ADHD and seriously need help with prioritizing. I found the whole concept of the priority matrix originated by President Eisenhower a while back and have used different methods & different apps. I appreciate the simple design of your app. Others have become very overwhelming pretty quickly to me. I wanted to give you 3 suggestions that I would find beneficial: 1) Update for the IPad Pro which would allow me to use the split screen view with the matrix & the be focused apps side by side. 2) I turned on the option to have a passcode to get into my matrix, but would like to turn that option back off. I can’t find that ability anywhere. 3) Since this app is only available with apple products, it would be really awesome if I could import tasks made in the apple reminders app directly into the matrix inbox. That would help in productivity and stop me from accidentally duplicating tasks in different places.

What I have been looking for.

This is exactly what I have been looking for in regards to an iPad matrix priority app. It is simple, fast, and easy to use. I did find so far some issues which would be nice to improve on. 1. When I create a task without typing anything and then press the x icon for the task, the app crashes every time. 2. The right side where there is the title, due date, etc can be confusing while starting the app for the first time and should be enabled after the user creates a task rather than it being on the screen without a task actively selected. 3. Make the matrix names editable! What if I want to use a different type of matrix? Maybe if you, the developer, desires to keep the app as simple as possible to increase focus then create some presets for other popular matrixes? Overall, well done!

Not sure of process/can’t find help

NewUserBJS

When I complete a task, it appears I have to delete it rather than marking it as finished. I haven’t found anything in the app that allows me to look up help or contact the developer. Maybe these things are not a big deal for people, but I like to look back and see what I’ve done, maybe on a list or report. Also, I think of deleting as for things I no longer want or need to do.

LOVE this app

I’ve tried different Eisenhower matrix apps, but what separates this app from all the rest is its intuitive design. In addition to the traditional four quadrants, there is a grey box you can open to quickly jot down items you can’t categorize quite yet. List items are so easy to move, delete, and check.

Widget?

So Glad this app exists

Love the app. I’ve grown to rely on it for triaging long lists of life errands and work tasks. I would love to see a widget for this app.

Enjoying be focused pro and timer

I purchased both apps for my computer and for my iOS devices. But I wish it was easier and more intuitive to change time intervals quickly. Perhaps having two drop downs would help —One for the task and one for the time.
