I just started and I’m using the free version, it’s incredibly dynamic and easy to use. I love that you can use flyr library and your own organic content. Downside? Very long export when it’s a mobile app, that pretty much means I need an add on the fly. I’m going to use it for a bit and see if there is a bribe offer later for the paid version.
Freezing

Started off greatly. Paid for the full version and 2 weeks later it freezes before I can complete a project. I’m working with an iPhone X so processor and storage are not an issue.

8 hours. I have spent 8 hours on this. On the preview, it looks fine, but when I render the video, none of the text I added animated properly. Also, it’s really easy to waste your downloads with accidental licenses. There’s no confirmation. And once you license a clip, there is no way to edit it. Which wouldn’t even be so bad except that the clips seem to randomly lose the time I clipped it at originally. 1 don’t want 3 seconds of white space on a 5 second clip. Could also use transparency options on things like text background colors. Actually, why can’t I select transparency on the color wheel? And why can’t I specify a color with rgba? Great effort and I am sure it could be a great tool, but these issues are must fixes for it to be anything other than a time waster.

I made a video using Flyr as recommended by one of my friends. The video was a surprise for my boyfriend. I got everything in the app to make the video look super good. When he saw the video, he couldn’t believe that it was created all by me and he got so emotional.

I think Flyr made an amazing app taking into consideration the user’s needs. They not only made it easier for users that don’t know a word of video editing but for professionals as well, because it’s really fast and mobile. Must recommend this app to all the users who love making videos.

When you have to do social video editing, you can usually manage to do it with a couple different apps and software. But you need to convert them several times into other formats for other social media. Flyrtv has an extensive range of formats so ou can resize and recompose wit ha couple clicks.

I have literally never once felt compelled to write an App review until I got Flyr. I can’t believe how much time I wasted struggling to do stuff without it. I’m no editor and have somehow managed to scrape by over the years but with Flyr I feel like a dang pro. Everything became so much easier, so much less labor intensive. And not only that but editing used to be an emotional slog. Now, I actually enjoy it and feel like the facility of the App has made me have even a better visual eye. Because when you have options laid in front of you, you feel like your own curator and making a better product seems more possible. I want different options for music? Flyr’s got it. I want images that I don’t have to worry about getting licensing for? Flyr’s packing. I want a host of templates to frame my work? Flyr has tons. Do I sound like an infomercial? Sorry but it’s really that good. Don’t walk. Run.
