At a lost for words
Right now disappointed
If I would have been given the opportunity to rate this app (Flixster) when I first started using it I probably would have given it five stars but not I can only bring myself to give three stars because I have been experiencing technical difficulties that have yet to be resolved. The app used to work great all I had to do was enter my codes verify them wait on them to upload then view them with no problem but now I have problems once I enter my codes the movies either don't get uploaded completely or they don't get uploaded at all and to make matters worse you can't talk to a live person you have to communicate through email don't get me wrong email is great but not when you are experiencing technical difficulties

This company thinks if it works on your iPhone or tablet it's fine, but I'm more than disappointed in that it won't work on either of my smart tv's or my new Amazon Fire box. Loading errors are the only thing that pops up. Also, when I try to watch my digital copies, theyfreeze up A LOT and buffer A LOT (and that IS on my phone and tablet). In the beginning their ultraviolet copies allowed you to pick iTunes copy versions as well and they are slowly taking that option away. Sad since their service doesn't allow you to actually watch your purchased copies on your tv or in the expected quality. I've been emailing flixter back and forth on this issue and I get no where, except being told I should watch my movie on my phone and enjoy their product. No reply on fixing the problem. My last email didn't even receive a response. I liked this app in the beginning, but it's very disappointing now. Seeing movie showtimes, reviews, and rotten tomatoes reviews are cool, but there are other apps out there that do this too and I'll be looking at them for better alternatives. Also if you want a digital copy, just get on iTunes, great quality, ease of use and you get extra features to boot = superior service.

Maybe other people have different phones (I have iPhone 6) but the only thing this app does is play the movie. If you want to go back to another scene, resume a movie where it left off after your phone goes to sleep forget about it. This app can't do that for you, it only plays the movie. Hell, most of the time when you want to pick up where you left off and fast forward to that moment you stopped watching it the app will freeze, lock up and make you restart it all the way from the beginning. Flixter video is garbage. Why can't it just work like iTunes does?!

Historically, this app has been hit or miss. Since the original flixter app, until now where we have a standalone app for playback. I have not tested the entire app as I find I have to go out of my way to find UV movies that I like, however playback on my small library is flawless.
Seriously?!? Be Platform Agnostic!!!

Using a format like UltraViolet for streaming is terrible and it has stopped me from buying Blu Ray movies. Now it wouldn't be total garbage if you just let people play the content on whatever device they had, sadly that's not the case if you have an AppleTV. It will AirPlay, but image quality and skipping ruins the movie even with a high speed connection. You also have to mirror your device, so it drains your phone's battery as well. The end result is I got a poor movie experience and you just lost a customer.

I would love this app to available for Apple TV users. I have all my movies on this app but I can't seem to download it on my Apple TV. It would be easier and also nice for me to watch it anywhere I want to go. Please make this available for Apple TV users.
