Great camera, but lackluster iOS app

The FX camera system is great but this app is holding it back. Compared to some competitor apps like the Netgear Arlo it really needs some polish, such as supporting iPhone 6 and larger devices. More frequent updates would help too.
Great camera, horrible software

I have such mixed feeling about the FlirFX. The camera and weatherproof housing are excellent. Nice high def video with an ultra wide angle. On the other hand, the software is absolutely horrible. The camera takes far too long to load, possibly missing what you need to see! The motion sensitivity is WAY TOO SENSITIVE! Even when turned down all the way, it will blow up my phone with notifications about motion alert. As of late, the app send me FOUR notifications at a time. All day and night long. I wake up to close to 80 notifications every morning. Then when I go to do an instant recap (I'm a premium subscriber) it says there's nothing to display. Absolute garbage software.

App is in major need of an update. Developer has abandoned the app and camera. Do not recommend.
Battery drains quickly

This app drains the battery dramatically, 1% per 30-60 seconds. This renders the camera and application useless. This happens on several iOS devices, 6, 6s, plus, iPad.

Does not connect to cameras via 4gLTE. Only works over any wifi. I called flir and they don't even believe there is an issue, yet their website is full of people complaining of same issue.
Can not save or share rapid recap.
Poor service
What a hunk of crap. Every time I try to share the recap video the app crashes.

FLIR cloud works perfect for iPhone 4. Updated to iPhone 7 and app won't support it. Disappointing.

Con: No update to FlirFX since 2015. Motion detection - to sensitive and the grid does not work. Battery life is around two hours during power outage. Two-way communication still horrible. No new advance features like facial detection or animal detection. I picture email notifications will be awesome. Multi-family account is very limited it is full admin for one account and read only for everyone else...not real world account privileges. No way to troubleshoot offline issues. No Smartthing, Apple a HomeKit, GoogleHome, IFTTT, wink or ihome integration. LTE and live monitoring is limited. Requires a ton of bandwidth to upload all the time. No Apple TV app. Perks: At least they have a free subscription option which allowed me to grow to to five FlirFX cameras. Rapid recap is still a awesome feature. Remote monitoring of cloud archives is still fast.

Are there no updates or new features to this camera ? One idea could be scheduled time motion and audio alerts. Or auto power on access or something.... there has been no improvement to this app since December 1st 2015.

Needs an update like yesterday. I would like ti see everytime i get home, it would automatically goes to private without me going to the app and doing it manually.
