Just updated. Now app is very slow to connect to camera. Also if you switch apps you have to restart the FLIR app to see cameras. Disaster

7-26-19 I paid almost $2000 for a security system. It worked fine for a year, now, you, lorex, or one of your affiliates, has updated your app so that we will be forced to get a new app, only problem is it doesn't work AND some kind of code has been inserted so that EVEN THIUGH I DID NNOOTT UPDAYE MY APP, it no longer works! DISGRACEFUL!! Lorex, you have just ensured this is the last time I buy your product!!
Latest Update Still Has Defects

Today’s update still fixed nothing. Same GUI design issues for X based iPhone and still slow camera load that was introduced in previous update. You literally fixed none of the reported GUI defects when using an iPhone XR or any other newer full screen device (X and above). The borders interferes with the app’s interface and some of the control buttons for the cameras aren’t available in Landscape orientation. Did you even bother to test the app or do you even read your app reviews which depict these defects, so you know what to fix? And on top of all of that, Live View camera feeds now take longer to actually load and display... like several seconds longer. Used to be able to start the app and the cameras views would pop up within a couple of seconds, now it’s 10+ seconds easy and this is on local WiFi for the network they are on. This release is a step backwards.

Another update was released. It was for connection speed and bug fixes. It has made the app sooo much slower. Lesson learned- I will never work with this company again
Slow Loading Camera Feeds

Latest 2.2.1 update does not resolve issue with slow loading of camera feeds. As stated in previous review this was not an issue before the 2.2.0 update introduced in July of 2019.
Horrible Connection Speed

It seems as if with each update, the connection speed is getting slower and slower. I have timed the app for my phone: 12 seconds for one square to populate and 20 seconds later, the other 3 finally show up simultaneously. Only 2 squares populate on my iPad. This is definitely not going to make me feel more safe and secure when I hear noises outside at night.
Latest update didn’t fix slow loading

The developers of this app should be fired. You have an issue with the app, you release an update specifically to address an issue with the slow loading issue and your update has no impact on fixing the issue. Please fix the slow loading issue.

It takes about 12 seconds to stream and view cameras on my iPhone X. If security and peace of mind is what you’re seeking, 12 seconds is TOO LONG! In addition, the developer has not made it accesible to contact them for assistance. I was excited to see there was a new update on 1/28/19. Much to my disappointment, it made the connection even SLOWER!!! Flir, please fix this!!! I will have no other choice but to switch to another company.
