I just learned and began using Flipgrid about 2 weeks ago! I use it to keep engaged and in touch with our teachers! Great way to present and gather visual feedback!

I don’t having to film myself in a certain amount of time to post for everyone to see, and having to answer weird questions about a topic.

What can I say, Flipgrid is integral to distance learning especially in band. I’ve been able to discuss a topic via the grid video, then assign a piece of music and have students respond through performance. By the use of Flipgrid’s video features and my listening, I can respond with suggestions to improve playing or more importantly recognize achievement! Thanks Flipgrid

Such a fun and easy way for kids to share! We were able to bring a tradition from school to life on Flipgrid during this distance learning time. 42 students loaded speeches as historical figures!

A way to stay connected with my students during quarantine

As a PE teacher, I was creating videos for my students to follow along to on YouTube. Due to mature content on that sight, I was referred to FlipGrid. I am so thankful. This has allowed my students to view my videos safely and respond back to essential questions and I can check their form and understanding of different skills. Most importantly, FlipGrid has allowed me to communicate and see that my students are healthy and staying active during this difficult time.

We live in an era where students are creating content on social platforms anyway! Flipgrid allows students to have a voice, respond to topics, and share in ways that doesn’t exist on other platforms. I’m grateful to have this tool to explore student voice.

Flipgrid has allowed my students to showcase themselves in ways they may not normally. By providing students with their own voice, they can share with their peers, teachers, parents, and community. I continue to look forward to what we can do with Flipgrid!
