Edit 5/18/18 Still using the app although I’m starting to think I may switch to another :( the grocery list has not been working for about a month or so. A couple suggestions I would love to have and think others would enjoy as well: a water tracker and body measurements tracker! These two additions would make this a solid app. Edit 3/5/18 I love that the developers really take the advice left by the reviewers. The grocery list is fixed and it’s much better! Adding a star for awesome developers. I’ve been using the app consistently (I haven’t used MFP since I switched) and I’m really enjoying the recipe suggestions. Another thing I would love to see changed: when I change my caloric intake, the app goes back and changes it for past days. Example: I decreased my calories today (3/5) and it decreased my calories all the way back to 2/22! So now it looks as though I was “over” my calories those days instead of on track. Hoping this will be fixed with another update :) Started using this today and so far it seems alright. I did pay for premium to try out the meal plan features. The recipes seem decent. I like that I can add additional meals to the standard “breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks.” Although I can’t add the meal plans to the additional meals. Also, I can’t figure out the grocery list. I can’t delete anything off of it. I went through different meals to find something I liked and it added all those ingredients to my shopping list and I can’t make them go away ? hoping there’s a way around this otherwise I feel like I wasted my money in some aspects.

Great app!

I love this app for tracking macros a million times more than MyFitnessPal. The look of the app is clean and easy, not covered in ads. And being able to customize your macros to the gram makes all the difference. I highly recommend!

Useful but some issues

Works

No refund....

Buykguy

I signed up for a free account and was prompted to sign up for a paid subscription to receive a meal plan. I signed up for the paid subscription (annual). Once I reviewed it for a short time....less than 10 minutes, I decided it was not what I wanted. The developer stated I needed to go to Apple to get a refund....guess what Apple stated? Not eligible for a refund. So I paid 48.00 for a subscription that I have no interest in using. They did tell me after I cancelled that I would have access to it through the subscription period.....one year!!!! Really!! Not happy!!

This app is terrible on an iPad

Emsdot

I was excited by all the reviews because I wanted to replace Myfitness Pal. But...opened this on my iPad because I want to make custom meal plans with carb cycling and although the graphics are gorgeous, I can’t use my separate keyboard. The app is only available portrait mode which defeats my goals of doing quick data entry of my personal recipes. I also have a food allergy and the onboarding was a little limited. Haven’t really gotten past that because I’m going to delete the app. Sad, it looked cute.

Rechecked and still too many problems

Legend of Zoltar

I got this app when it first came out because i wanted to support the people behind its creation. It just wasn’t where it needed to be so I went back to MyFitnessPal. I decided to come back and see if it had improved. It had but not enough. Within 10min of using the app it froze. Plus I couldn’t find a way to view weekly averages for calories and macros even after searching the FAQ and google, which is something super easy to do with MFP. Lastly many of the big name brands are still not in its database. Also Since it forces you to let it design your calories I chose low-fat. I was shocked it had me on 110g of fat when i chose the low fat option. I want to like this product, but it seems to still be plagued by inadequacies. Sadly I’m going back to MFP.

App Crashes

Cardinals29

App crashes whenever I try to add a food. Other than that, works perfectly fine. But I use this daily so the app crashing is a nuisance.

A better alternative to MFP

Hoping to see an update soon

Horrible syncing with health devices

gigileal

I like everything about this app except for its inability to sync with health apps. There’s no way to keep track of progress when it’s not connecting to my Apple Health and calculating burned calories.

I have to add too many foods

RandomName6863

It’s a decent app, it’s just too inconvenient for me as I’m having to add too many foods.
