Simple and effective

ChrisButler

I couldn't be more happy with Fit Genie It takes the guesswork out of an already difficult task. I feel as good as can be expected and I've experienced little effect on the performance of my workouts. Strength is good, energy is good and sleep is good. I recommend having a heart rate monitor, a food scale and a reliable body comp scale to make the process more efficient.

Better than MFP ?

Trishhhhh2

The recipe search engine is very intuitive, and it's great to be able to add them, while automatically generating my shopping list. This app makes it very easy to log calories based on recipes I have used in the past, and plan to use in the future.

Great app! Will recommend ?

Premium does not activate on multiple devices

HilbertAx

I installed the app on my iPad and started a paid premium subscription (since there was the 25% off offer). The premium status doesn’t transfer to my iPhone, so I’m stuck with the non premium version on my iPhone. Contacted support, we’ll see what happens. EDIT: Supported answered in 10 minutes and they were very nice about it. It’s a bit hidden but there is a way to restore purchases, by swiping up after the “try premium” screen.

BEST Lose Fat & Gain Muscle APP??

Umams

This app is def made for the lazy millennial. ?? Whether you’re trying to lose fat/gain muscle, prepping for a bodybuilding show or enjoying the doughnut life this app is 100% the BEST tool. I’ve referred it to all my clients! I calculate their macros then let the Premium FitGenie AI readjust! My clients love their results and I looooove how easy it makes it for me to focus on training! I personally struggle with coming up with creative food so the recipe guide has been so useful. The AI on the Premium honestly knows exactly what I like to eat....it’s kind of creepy but I love it! When I’m #hangry it keeps me on top of my goals. Plus the social sharing features are so pretty that I actually get excited to share my macros on social media. ?

BEST fitness app out there

Without a doubt, FitGenie is the best health + fitness app out there! It’s free to use but they offer premium features which I highly recommend investing in. Not only is it super affordable (and worth every penny!) but the they offer so many features that you wouldn’t get from any other app. The most amazing feature about this app is that they use ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE to cater specifically to your needs. If you’re just starting out, they give you suggested macros based on the information you give them about yourself, but you can easily customize them to reach your exact goals. With the free download, you’re able to create individual meals, share meals + macros, and customize your weekly targets. By updating to premium, you can edit your food preferences, schedule meals, customize nutrient goals (yay micros lol), have a meal plan generated for you, favorite meals and recipes. You can also search recipes using hashtags and then add ingredients from the recipes to your grocery list. Once you check them off your grocery list, they’re stored in your pantry list, which they then take into consideration when generating meal ideas for the next week (how cool is that?!). If you don’t like a specific ingredient they suggest in a meal or recipe, you can easily substitute it with something else! FitGenie makes everything so simple to use, and I LOVE the customization + personalization of the app. If you’re thinking about making a lifestyle change, improve your health, or just need some accountability, you need to download this app!

Great App, Bad Update

Adrianna1719

DO NOT UPDATE!! Second update also poor. App is much slower. The new format is less intuitive and much less convenient. Where before you could easily glance at the app and see exactly how many cals, fats, proteins and carbs. Now calories is a tiny graphic at the top of the screen and you have to swipe for a tiny graphic for macros. Will probably switch back to another app. Previous version was perfect, this one.... not good at all.

Glad I switched

GetFitPhred

I used MyFitnessPal for like 5 years religiously and I don’t really have any complaints about it. I switched to FitGenie (continuing to update both) assuming I would hate it and switch back. I stopped updating MyFitnessPal after a month of using FitGenie. It’s easy to use and my favorite feature is setting your goal and getting the weekly update with change suggestions. This is really helpful for me because I don’t have a coach or really know when to do what. So far, the weekly updates have been putting me towards my goals exactly. I also like that they get feedback and constantly make changes and add new features. I’m looking forward to more additions in the future! Thank you!

FitGenie is Magic!

BigBen3416

FitGenie has had an amazing macro predicting algorithm from day 1 and the user interface and operating experience is greatly improved with each app update that takes place. They have some nice premium features you have to pay for but the free app has everything you will need to reach your body composition goals.

Great app. 1 easy suggestion

Loving this app! Just got premium and it’s awesome that meals can be generated based on macros and what’s in your pantry. An awesome feature would be the ability to export or share the grocery list. My wife does grocery shopping and it was a pain to screenshot everything and text them over
