Ongoing bugs detract from the experience

Just an update to my old review: after renewing my subscription for several hundred dollars, I’ve been having ongoing issues with my questions resetting, showing me a cycle of 5 to 10 cards only a serval times a week. So far, tech-support hasn’t given me any response. For the timeBeing, I think it might be too unstable for what it costs. Firecracker is a good app, and fits well into the short downtime periods between classes or action on rotations. Along with a few good books, it’s served me quite well on Phase 1/Step 1, and I credit it with a solid score on my first Shelf exam, as well. I trust it going forward into Step 2CK. Questions are easily aligned to curriculum using the “study something specific” feature.

Incredible content with some minor glitches. In all, well worth every single cent. The last update seems to have fixed the crashing issues.

Firecracker is a study tool that can truly be used anywhere, even if you only have a few spare seconds. The UI is beautiful, and the team is very quick to respond to questions/comments. I've seen several requests that I made actually implemented in the app (pretty quickly too). Do you like Anki? Firecracker is like a fully-automated, much much smarter Anki (with an active support team). Do you like First Aid? Firecracker provides the page number for every bit of its information that can be found in First Aid. The point is this: Firecracker is an easy to use, comprehensive, regularly-updated step study tool.

This app is buggy. It forgets your day’s task completions. You can do 70 questions, close the app, and then open back to finish studying and it will tell you that you did 0 questions for the day.
