The Firecracker Daily Review app is great for studying whenever you can find the time. You can quickly move through your Today’s To-Dos review of USMLE Step 1, USMLE Step 2, COMLEX, or MCAT content, while on the bus to class, while winding down after a long day in the lab, or while in-between rounds during wards. The app was designed to sync your progress and performance with your desktop usage of Firecracker MD and Firecracker DO, meaning USMLE Step 1, USMLE Step 2, COMLEX, or MCAT questions answered in either will be counted in the other. Best yet, if you lose access to an internet connection while on the move, the questions you've answered will sync once a connection is reestablished.
The Firecracker Daily Review app is intended to act as a companion to the core Firecracker MD and Firecracker DO desktop experiences. Your USMLE Step 1, USMLE Step 2, COMLEX, or MCAT daily review tasks will appear in the mobile app each day, and you can create additional 'Get Ahead' tasks if you'd like to continue burning through your stack of high priority questions. You will also be able to solve your daily USMLE Step 1, USMLE Step 2, or COMLEX diagnostic case.

The program is quite acceptable for a study aid and test prep program. But if you already have a subscription, you are better off logging into the site on the web browser on your mobile device than using the app. I spent too much time last year trying to submit feedback on the android version of the app to know that the app there was NOT going to get any significant QOL improvements, so I thought I would check out the app now that I got an apple product. No difference. The app is functional, but the usability is lacking. There are annoying graphical glitches that are just plain sloppy. The design choices were not made with an enjoyable experience in mind. It isn’t horrible. Your time better spent using the web browser app on the device instead of the app.
I'll read the textbook through once, and then spend the rest of my time working through questions on firecracker. I've been feeling more prepared for class, and I definitely have a better command of the material.
Great! Wish they would introduce a highlight feature for the app like the website has!
Wish that I could make notes using the app on iPhone. Such a shame... saddened by this, also would like to retrieve my notes
I like the firecracker system, I just wish they had an option where I could upload my lecture slides to generate a review that is more tailored to what I’m learning in class . SGU student
Only complain is that you can’t mark anything as urgent within “manage marks” and have to go specific topic by topic within the app
