I didn’t read anything about the Fitbit battery needing to be charged to find out and my battery was dead however it still got me close. It took me close to where it was but when I held my Fitbit right next to my phone it didn’t say anything about its location. My Fitbit fell out of my pocket and was in some tall grass and it took me two feet near it.

This app has found my lost Fitbit Flex at least 6 times. The clasp on the band open and fall off, usually in a place where it couldn't be seen, or was covered. This app homes in on it just like it's suppose to! However, it is just a proximity receiver. It takes multiple passes of measuring signal strength up and down to finally locate it. Because the signal can vary slightly when it's stationary you get false variations when you're using it to search. It would be perfect if it was more directional so it could point at where the signal is coming from.

Make sure you turn the Bluetooth off on your Fitbit. Found mine in a few minutes. Other app I tried didn't work at all.

I'm always misplacing my fit but. I could look for it an hour or more. Using the Fitbit Finder, I found it in less than a minute. I LIVE THIS APP!

Lost my wedding ring and Fitbit (I loop the ring into the Fitbit) when I threw my surgical scrubs into the laundry after a long late night case. Found it the next day in our linen room. Hundreds of bags of linen and I was able to find it opening only one bag. Lifesaver! Thank you
