If they don't update it, it won't run on the next update. Simple as that. And the last time it was updated was in 2013 ffs. Stop blindingly giving it high reviews...

FFTactics is an AWESOME game. The controls on the iPad version are only ok at best. I have a bluetooth controller but it isn't supported for this title. Secret of Mana, another Square game, has controller support. Both games are made for the controller interface and it makes no sense that FFT doesn't have support. Game=5/5 Controls= not so much...

It is unconscionable that Apple allows this game to stay up on the App Store when it is so out of date. Upon downloading and opening it, the first thing that happens is a pop up window warning the game won't work at all in the next version of iOS and needs to be updated by the developer. THE GAME HASN'T BEEN UPDATED IN 4 YEARS! I got fooled by the high average review score, and now Apple is ignoring my request for a refund. I will now be contacting my bank about initiating a charge back on my credit card for this app.

Favorite game ever, but out of date

I love this game, but when I open it I get a dialogue box that it is not compatible with future versions of iOS. I didn't buy this as an app to play it once. It's be nice if it could be updated for compatibility issues with current and future versions of iOS.

Do not waste your money on this game. Developer no longer supports app with later iOS updates making the game impossible to play, too many crashes and incompatibility issues. Horrible controls and touch experience. Again DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I will definitely be demanding a refund.

Great game, needs te be updated for current iOS and will no longer be playable in the next update. It wasn't free and now I will lose the ability to play it, one more time. It's a shame, really, but the company seems to no longer support it.

Worst port I've ever seen

The game is mediocre and the port is awful. The controls don't work at all. Sometimes it takes several minutes to configure the viewpoint into the "sweet spot" where you can actually select the tile you want. Honestly, 90% of your time in combat is spent just wrestling with the controls. If you want a tactical rpg on ipad try x-com instead. It's both a better game and a MUCH better port.
