Constantly crashing and freezing

So disappointed in spending eight dollars at an app that I can even play I would not recommend purchasing this app at all until all of the bugs are worked out. It definitely has potential but it's a waste of $8 right now

My experiences with Final Fantasy II were nothing short of splendid pleasure. The individual stat strengthening rather than full in character leveling provides endless character customization. I encountered no glitches and only 2 or 3 crashes during my 30+ hour adventure.

If you are new to the ff series I suggest starting off with either 7 5 or 1 but if you have experience with those then get 2 this one is the most interesting because it resembles skyrims leveling system

7 hours in, no more sound

Despite the hot-or-cold reviews, I went ahead and bought the game. I'm beginning to regret that decision today. I encountered the bug where all the game's sound completely stops, twice. The first time I was able to fix it by fully closing the game and shutting down my phone. When I turned it back on the game ran just as you'd expect. I was not so fortunate the second time.

This was a phenomenal experience despite a few technical deficiencies. The story line and characters are on point and the graphics are great for this being a first generation game. There is no way to mute the volume and the music is annoying after a while. Nice game, I recommend this if you like final fantasy.

Glitch?

I am at the point where I have defeated the chimera boss in the Deist Cavern room, and I am supposed to put the Wyvern Egg in the spring the beast was guarding. But it WON'T LET ME DO THIS. The item is grayed out, even when I am standing next to the stream! Playing this on an iPad Pro. Hoping this can be fixed? Please?

The game keeps losing connection and then freezing. I then have to shut the app down completely and go back in. I've been playing for about a 1/2hr and had it happen 4 times. The last time it lost a bunch of my activity. Final fantasy is my all time favorite game but this app needs to be fixed.

Freezes constantly and has HORRIBLE controls, and a ridiculously huge image for your control pad that blanks out half the screen. You can't even play the game due to all of the freezing. Way overpriced for what an awful port this is.

I was just leveling up my characters and now it's at the point where it keeps going to a black screen and not doing anything. I can't play it anymore.

The game brings back a lot of memories. I'm a bit addicted to the old school RPGs from my childhood that are now available for iOS. Combat can be a little clunky - I would like an auto attack feature, and I'm not fond of having to manually select a mob every time I attack. But that's pretty minor. I have a lot of crashing issues on my iPad, and that's the difference between two stars and four. Doesn't happen during regular gameplay, but now and then when I speak to a merchant, the game locks up. There doesn't seem to be a pattern, and it happens so often that I save before trying to talk to any merchant. It can happen in as many as three times in a row, which is just maddening.
