This game looks tiny, and honestly, awful on iPhone X. A full screen update would be appreciated, even if it is an in-app purchase.

Not a bad game, but the controls and bugs are really bad.

This game has crashed on me 3 times in the first hour. There is no auto save feature so you have to save scum just to do basic things like shop without losing progress. The controls are also pretty odd, but it’s a touch screen. Would’ve been nice to have an option to keep the buttons on screen though. Also, you can only play this game in one orientation, I don’t mean just landscape, but landscape only on one side. This is infuriating to me because it’s the opposite side of how I hold my iPad. So headphones stick out where you need your hand and the folding case doesn’t work as a handle like normal. Why the heck would you lock it this way?

I enjoy the gameplay, but I keep having issues with the game crashing after talking to a shopkeep. I want to rate this game higher, but this issue is so frustrating and repetitive that it sours my experience.

Fun to play and great story but the app frequently crashes. So if you don’t save often, be prepared to rage.

Never played it. No problems, loved it! I started going through them and started with FF2. If this is a low point in the franchise (like the stars indicate) then I'm going to be a happy camper going forward.

It plays like the old one for the gba, but the app restarts if you leave it in the background kicking you out of your battle you already spent 5 minutes on, it crashes randomly. Right now I'm stuck in mysidia because it crashes every time I try to leave. Great game. Just needs the bugs fixed.

CONSTANTLY FREEZES!!!

Not worth the 8 dollars if you can't play it for more than 20 minutes. Every time I try to purchase something from any shop in any town the game freezes. Totally crawling with bugs! You can't even move your character for more than 3 seconds before you have to release the control pad and start over. Square-Enix can get bent for swindling me out of money for what I know to be a great game. I will just pirate an emulator and roms to play any of their classic games from now on. They aren't getting another dime from me. Assholes.

I cannot even get past the intro without this game freezing up my entire phone. This game is completely broken - DO NOT BUY.

This game would be pretty awesome but for the price you would think they could fix the glitch that causes it to constantly freeze on you at the WORST times. I expect more when I'm buying the most expensive games... I lose all progress about 70% of the time when I go Into any shops. Makes me not even want to play it. Fix this stuff guys! I have purchased ALL of your games as they become available. Show some loyalty to your faithful customers already by giving them what they pay for. It's not like nobody is letting you know it's a problem, I've read the other reviews.
