Nearly perfect, but crashes a bit

I’ve been using this app and the older one before it for years now. Sometimes I’ll try other “download” apps, but they’re never as good as this one. It reliably downloads everything I’ve tried. There’s just 2 problems I’ve had on multiple iOS devices: 1: it crashes if I’m scrolling a web page and press the “back” button while it’s still scrolling. 2: Resource-heavy pages with lots of gifs and photos will cause the entire app to slow down and crash after a while. Other than that, I love everything about this app. The browser interface (it’s just like using Safari), it’s easy to manage files, and the Recovery Mode in the Settings app is great for getting out of those annoying pop-up loops.

Looks like this developer has abandoned his old app renamed it and charged again for the full version ... it’s the exact same interface nothing new. What a garbage move

Great app, been using it since it came out on tiny little iPod Touch 4th gen all the way to iPhone X. Yeah it can be buggy but it gets the job done better than any app on the App Store!

“New” version of an old app

I’m originally a “downloads” user, the name of the old version of this app. I actually wouldn’t mind paying the $5 again for this app if I was able to access my files on the old app.. I have over 50gb of content on the original downloads app that I can no longer access. Restore access to the old app and I’ll give this 5 stars and pay my $5

Double-dipping developer

Like many others, I bought this app years ago at full price when it was called Downloads. The developer renamed it to Files, didn't provide an upgrade path or restored iTunes purchase, and now is charging full price again. The Downloads app does not work with iOS 11. I emailed the developer months ago and never heard back. I can't recommend this product as this behavior is likely to continue on further iOS upgrades. Buyer beware!! ?

Amazing app and support!

Love being able to save videos for viewing later, away from internet or to quick pick up where u left off without having to scroll through the video. Recently asked bout support for the iPhone X,, and shortly after,, they updated the app to support it. Awesome.
