Fun but could be fixed

Sometimes when I try to make a song, it glitches and the circle indicating my finger pressed the screen appears in recording mode, but it makes no sound. Has been getting worse. Also, there is no way that I know of to transfer your songs from an old device to a new one and there is no 3 beat per bar mode

had this app for years. after the update, they force users to create an account in order to use it. deleting now.

Of all the apps available for mobile devices, Figure is by far the easiest to get your head around and start making music immediately. However, there are limitations that I would love to see addressed in future releases. 1. MIDI out - there isn’t any. The method of input in Figure is really fun, smooth and elegant. I would really like to use Figure as a MIDI device for other apps and hardware devices. 2. Song length - 8 bars max. Many apps available in iOS offer multiple scenes for each track. Figure could certainly benefit from the addition of something like Live’s scenes. 3. Sampler instrument - missing. Figure has a fantastic immediacy that would benefit from a built-in sampler that works in harmony with the rest of Figure’s feature set. 4. AU3 - I hope I hope I hope! Multiple instances of Figure in AUM or apeMatrix would be so cool!!!

Why do I need to make an account to use an app? (rhetorical question, obviously). It would be one thing if it was always this way — I would know that was a requirement and I could take it or leave it — but changing it after using it for years so I can’t access my old files? Futue te ipsum! This kind of junk ruined the Take app and now this one too. I don’t want to give you my email. Ede faecum.

The developer and programmers of Figure nailed it. This is truly created by people that understand music creation. Figure is the best implementation for compositional ease on a mobile device. Midi export would make this an essential tool for every musician.

I use this app every week to create quick beats for a TV series I edit. It’s super easy to create something on the go and export. Please add iCloud support (to sync song files between devices), higher quality audio exports (it only does 44.1kHz right now - reason compact does 48kHz at least) and a pattern editor to fix note hitting issues instead of having to delete and overwrite. Thanks again!
