Great app for the home brewer

This is a great app for those who want to experiment and know what they did. I use this app for recipes that even come out of the book so that I can make changes to it and try new things. The ten dollars for unlimited is well worth it. I would definitely get this app again.

This is a great app for brewing beer. It allows you to formulate recipes with automatic calculations. Also it contains all the BJCP style guide info so you will know if you are off the mark on your recipe. My one complaint is it has all the different cider styles available for info, but it is missing various ingredients for selection. Like apple juice. That's kinda important.

Nice app, dry hop calculation does not work

I like the app, the dry hop calculator does not work. Added different values of Citra up to a pound, and the IBU's did not change.

I like this app. Full disclosure - I am using the free version. If 3 things were addressed, I'd probably buy it and abandon my spreadsheets and just use this. 1). Water volume calculations appear off. 2). The font on the export email is tiny. Can't read it. 3). I'd love to see a brewing salt addition calculator in here. That's not a deal breaker for me though.

This is just my favorite, there may be some little issues here and there, but when it comes to being a solid easy to use brewing recipe app, you can't go wrong.

It does the job without syncability

The biggest drawback to this app so far is not being able to sync between devices. The developers have still not added this feature even for those who paid $9.99 for infinite recipe slots. The export feature also isn't great. Goes only to email. Importing would be nice too.

Great app. Interface is clean and most navigation / use makes sense. By far the biggest drawback is not being able to sync across devices.

Simple and Effective

It's easy to log and track recipes and sessions. It really requires very few clicks. I have tried a few other apps and others take much longer to add new recipes. I'll up to 5 stars when they add a timer ;). Download and try with 5 slots for free so nothing to loose to give it a go.

I love this app! I'm a beginning brewer and it helps me craft my own recipes with ease. The OG is generally spot on and FG and ABV are usually pretty close. I've had a lot of fun using this app to create beer recipes.
