Impressive database and lots of confusing numbers for a noob home brewer, but a handy resource for keeping track of your batch. The layout and information could be easier to understand and the program more user friendly. Also, it would be nice to upload step by step pics of my brew.

Not only can you track your progress but you can also take A LOT of the guess work out with the built in calculators! Just bought today and already upgraded for more storage!

I am primarily a partial mash / extract brewer that likes making kits with my own personal spin on things. This app is an excellent way to keep up with beer recipes in a notebook style app. Calculations are very accurate to verify the recipes, and the interface is not overly complicated like other comparable applications. 5 bucks is a no brainer for the unlimited recipe option. I am not knocking the other comparable BS apps, as they are good for building custom recipes, but this app is certainly the best for maintaining a notebook of all of your recipes you have done, and not nearly as complicated to work with.

I really like using this app to help with my brewing. It is easy to use and the results it gives are very accurate. I did an all grain ten gallon batch and every mark hit perfect. I highly recommend this app!

I've used this app for my last half dozen brews and I absolutely love it! Helps with all my numbers, just plug them in and presto! I like it so much I want to purchase unlimited slots, but I get a message 'no in-app purchases'... This is my only knock so far; I can't expand the current limit of 5 recipes.

This app is dynamite and I love it but since iOS8 it crashes when I try to enter a new fermentation or brew date. Other than this its awesome!!

I started brewing a year ago and this app ages months later. I only have 4 recipes in but definitely would not have an issue spending the $10 for unlimited. It's easy and straight forward to use.

I have been using Brew Log for almost 2 years now. It is straight forward and not cluttered in dealing with multiple recipes. If you want something to run on a mobile device, whether iPad or iPhone, this is the way to go over BeerSmith. My only requests would be a) offer syncing between devices of recipes and b) continue to build out features, i.e. water dilution, partigyle or second runnings brews, and perhaps export to Untappd? Sorry asking a lot, but this is my go to app! Thanks Fermenticus!
