Great and fast support from creator of this app. New to brewing and this app is great for calculating my own recipes. Once I figured out my equipment losses and batch sizes, I plugged them into settings. The numbers are now transferred into all my new recipes. Also this app is very simple to use.

Accurate calculations done for you. All the ingredient selections you will need, all specs included. The calculations of gravity, SRM, IBUs, etc make it very easy to experiment and formulate and tweek your recipe. Highly recommended for any brewer at any stage.

I was surprised how much great (bjcp) info and help is on this app. Easy to ease into the program. rather than paying upfront, you can pay to store more recipes, which seems to make sense.

I like the calculations and the way it's laid out. The problem I have is there is no way to delete things once they have been entered. For example, I wanted to change my mash from step to single. No way to delete the entered mash schedule. You can change them (ie temps) but you can't delete them. Otherwise a great app.

I like everything that this app has, layout, ease of use, and the information built in. There are a few things that this app lacks that would really make it fantastic. One is icloud syncing to other ios devices. Another is a calendar (or iCal integration) so you can plan brew days and be given reminders to perform various tasks. The other would be a field to plug in gravity readings at various stages.

Fantastic app. Clean, quick, easy to enter and view data. Really slick and straight forward. Could add iCloud syncing for other ios devices (currently use on my iPhone, no way to sync to iPad). Could add export to BeerXML for import into Other programs like beer alchemy or beersmith. Otherwise, this will still be part of my brew day-planning and recipe building.

This app does everything it's supposed to do very cleanly without any unnecessary frill. It makes recipe creation, transcription, and tweaking a breeze, and doubles as a LHBS shopping list and brew journal.
