I love Feedly. I get all the content I want quickly and easily, and my feed controls couldn’t be easier to use - from sharing to keeping to marking-as-read.

I’ve used this app for a few years now and I love it! Best RSS reader out there!

Great app! What’s with all the NewYorker articles with the subheading of “humor, satire, and cartoons”!! It changed about a year ago but it was never fixed. Don’t know who to contact about it.

Every time you follow a link to a web site, when you come back it rotates the screen upside down. Been doing it for weeks and it's still not fixed.

RSS feeds are a better way than Twitter to keep up with news. And Feedly is the best way I know to follow the feeds. I’m constantly switching between phone, iPad, Windows desktop, and MacBook and Feedly stays 109% in sync so I’m not rereading stuff or missing anything. They really rescued me when Google Reader let me down!

Or at least a setting to disable. What’s the point of going into an amp from an rss? Thanks!!

The actual reading news part is confusing AF. You might open the app after not using it for a day and then it says “no new news”. This is obviously wrong. Then you have to swipe or something and it refreshes. Then while you’re reading, it give you news in bite-sized pages. You don’t know how much is left to read. Going back is weird. There is no “click title bar to scroll to top” feature. Then when you’re done reading there is a “you’re done page” which you can still scroll past. This produces an infinity loop of “you’re done pages” or sometimes it just goes back to a (nearly) infinite list of things you’re already ready. Basically I’m either too sober or not enough to understand what’s going on here.

When I heard about Feedly, I thought I would be great. But after using it, I just don’t see the point. Seriously, if the devs can contact me and explain why this is any better than simply visiting the websites individually, please do so! I guess I was under the impression that I would be able to truly customize exactly what appears in my feed. Here’s an example, I like video games, so I selected Kotaku as a feed source. But I wasn’t able to get any more granular than that. I wanted to have Kotaku content, but only for subjects that interested me. For example, I wanted Kotaku content for God of War, but I didn’t want any Kotaku content for Fortnite. The app doesn’t do that, instead I just get everything from Kotaku always. The same as if I was just visiting the website without Feedly. So, what’s the point? What’s the advantage? [Shrugs] I just don’t get it. If I could filter keywords or tags, etc to truly customize my feed, that would be great, but as it stands I see no value in this app.
