Doesn’t work properly on Apple Watch

FriscoSooner

This used to work, but has stopped since I re-installed it. I get an attempting to login via iPhone but it keeps saying retry. I got it working by restarting my watch and this morning it did the same thing. Not impressed!

Google Calendar is Free, Don’t Let Fantastical Charge You For It

dfabs

Fantastical has a nice layout and solid natural language event creation. There’s also a wide selection of widgets, though the free tier severely limits their configurations. But there is lots to like even in the free version, and that’s the one you should use. But don’t buy the subscription. Yes, there are iOS/Mac apps included in the sub, but there are good calendars on Mac and iOS that are offer free or less expensive subscriptions or one time payments. $50 a year is not a fair price for a Google Calendar skin, and if you think it’s more than that you’re kidding yourself.

Good features, poor reliability of the worst kind

KClassen

I have calendars on O365, Google and iCloud. Too often this app fails to display all my appointments within each account, and also fails to send new invitations. A subscription price commands better reliability. I am switching back to the built in app. Support thinks I don't have all the calendars selected. I repeatedly explain that Fantastical will show 7 of 8 appointments within the same calendar for today, for instance. There is no discernible reason why the 8th appoint doesn't show. The crazy thing is that the missing appointment will show tomorrow when I look back at today. After missing several appointments, this app can be quite embarrassing. This problem occurs on both MacOS and iOS.

Calendar not working on Apple Watch 6

I am frustrated that this calendar is not working - I’ve used it on the watch no issues -now with new series it won’t sync - I’ve signed into fitibits

'Event List' Widgets

RJ Wilner

Is it possible to configure an 'event list' widget ro display *all* upcoming events...regardless of whether they occur today, tomorrrow, or a month from now. I want it to mirror the actual app. I can't seem to get it to display any events other than those scheduled for 'today'?

Watch Date Request

Everything requires a name

I enjoy the app. Would love to see a setting for the watch where I can few the date only on the watch face instead of having to select the icon to see it. Love being able to see the upcoming event but just having the date available is the most needed item throughout the day. Thanks!

(Still) love this app

GOMontes

“This app has replaced the Calendar app on my iPhone. All the updates add something totally useful to your everyday life. I suggest you get this app!! I'd recommend it to anybody!” I wrote the above review a couple of years ago and it still holds true. FantastiCAL just keeps getting and better. Do yourself a favor and download this app. You won’t regret it.

Really good, needs a few things

Scottrwood

Have been a Fantastical User for a very long time and was very excited to have the Widgets available. They take up 2/3 of my main display. A couple of things though: When using the Up Next widget to display to dos/ tasks, it only displays 3 at a time and half of the widget isn’t used. Poor use of real estate and would love to see more. Seems like it should be able to display 6 at a time, and why not be able to scroll through the rest? Also, should be able to check off the completed tasks on the widget, not open the app. The interface to the calendar seems to be off. I cannot accept meeting requests, and have to go to I calendar to do so or to accept recommended time changes. Overall, it’s great but a couple of tweaks and we’re at 5 stars for sure.

Why subscription?

JaleX0

I don’t mind paying a subscription fee for something that I cannot have for free (movies, books, tvshows, etc.) but come on, this is a calendar! A Good one, so I have no problem at all with paying a flat rate, but 40 dollars a year (or 5 a month) to use a calendar? There are plenty others for free! This is a no go!

Developers lying about Fantastical 2 users

randybruder

“We never removed features from Fantastical 2 users”, except the feature of buying an app that isn’t completely cluttered with links trying to upsell you to a subscription. How do I get that feature back? Or are the developers lying?
