Good for recipients, bad for organizers

The app is great if you are an invitee but fails in a number of ways if you are trying to put together an invitation on the go. For example, it's impossible to edit the guest list until the invitation has been sent out.

Helps Make You the Hostess with the Mostest!

People always complement my invites and how "fancy" they are, when the truth is that it's easier than any other method of inviting people! Easy to use, create and send Evites. It will import your contacts from your phone, making guest lists a breeze. Love that it tracks RSVP's and you can send another email to unresponsive guests at the click of a button. Cute templates to choose from for almost any occasion. I've used evites for years, but the app makes it that much better!

Love the app

The only reason I am not giving the app five stars is because I would like the app to allow you to utilize phone numbers for texting the invitation. I have had to ask people for their email addresses, which is ok, but texting is so much easier and people get it right away, unless they're an avid email checker like me. Thank you for this app, it really does make it easy and the invitations are beautiful! I'll use it again!

New app is great!

Long time comin but the new evite iOS app is awesome. Great job, team!

This app is insanely bad

Almost worthless. Makes it impossible to find even basic information, like the time your event starts (kind of important), plus very annoying to navigate. I don't need a map image to pinpoint where in North America my event is. I just want the basics of date, time and address, which you have to click around a bunch to find (and still can't find the time).

Lack of functionality

The Evite app lacks basic functionality; and that's being nice! How is it that facebook events is more feature rich than evite? Can't change or assign hosts? Why not? One should be able to scale an electronic invitation across various destinations/ locations and assign various hosts to manage an event. Afterall, the electronic invitation is at the core of an event; one could safely assume it provides event details and coordinates the guest list in an easy to use manner. What lack of basic functions for a company that prides itself on leading the invitation market... An application with such promise but has yet to mature and show how it's done.

Works OK

The app is nice however there a few tasks as a host that you still need to use the desktop version for unfortunately. Also, the layout of the invite changes on both the mobile site and the app. Personally I prefer the app over the desktop and mobile sites, so I hope the developers will make the app as powerful or more so than desktop. I LOVE being able to swipe thru years of events too. Just wish desktop, mobile and App would get together and make the layout more consistent. Plus I understand that fonts cost a heck of a lot more when developing apps, but it's a bummer to lose them on the app. The evite is clean and easy to use but the fonts changed to a simple sans serif and like I mentioned before, the layout changed. My evite on mobile and on app looks wonky. You guys are almost there. Come on evite! You're #1 in online invites. Spend the money to wow us, ok?

So far, so good!!

I'm using the app for my first event and it is amazing. I love how it organizes everything. It is so helpful!! You don't have to wait for a RSVP.

Awesome app!

Easy to use and works great!

Fix the glitch; people can't RSVP!

Cujdehhvsyovhfd

My guests can't RSVP to my event because they keep receiving a message about not being allowed to bring more than two guests, even though none of the attendees are even bringing any. Please fix this. Very frustrating.
