I really love EPI app it's my favorite of all of the other food apps out there. All of the recipes that I have tried were truly exceptional.
Poorly designed

Search doesn’t work well and, most annoying, can’t review a recipe from within the app. What is up with that?

I love your app and the ease of use. However only rated 3 stars because of missing calorie information. Update the app with this info and I'd give you a higher rating. Ed Patterson

I downloaded this app on to my new phone, l soon remembered why l deleted it before on my old phone two years ago. It just freezes permanently. If l am lucky enough to get anything to load l have to take a screen shot before it freezes. I only downloaded the app as the website is too dreadful to use either. Epicurious used to be my favorite food website. I have thousands of recipes stored in my cookbooks - which l can’t access any more. This website and the app haven’t worked for at least two years. Come on Epicurious, what is the point of creating great content if no one can view it!

I have used this app for years primarily because of the reviews- whynot have a source of tried and true recipes before you even try it yourself? No brainer. I love it.
Please improve your app so it functions in a manner appropriate to this decade!

First: I have loved Epicurious and used it often. Second: the app is very disappointing. Since I don’t take my laptop into the kitchen when cooking, you’d think the app would be fully functional. My main complaint is that it doesn’t allow for reviews. I rely on others reviews in choosing recipes to play with, so like to leave my own without having to login in on a different device. In addition, the “fork ratings” of recipes are not consistent between the website and the app! Tonight I made a 4 fork recipe from the app that was subpar, and when I went to review it realized it was rated much lower on the full website. They really need to fix these deficiencies. I’ll look for another site that allows you to search and save things to a recipe box now. This one simply isn’t good enough.
