I am up to 145 cryptograms and new ones still coming! Thanks so much for creating this app! I love reading all the quotes too. Lots of beautiful words. Best app for cryptograms I have found, especially since the price is free and no in app purchases required to keep playing. Thanks again!
hard to parse

I get the idea it's going for, but the contrast between "solved" and "unsolved" letters isn't quite enough for me to manage well, especially when there can be two unrelated instances of the same letter at the same time. I prefer how a different app manages this, by switching letters so even though only some letters may be in the correct place, the proper letter frequency is maintained.

I love this ! I like the ease of substitution of letters, allowing you to change things around easily. The quotes are often quite beautiful. They are poetry, and some old, so expect some e're s and heav'ns. I would like a total reset button for when you've completely gone wrong, and the inclusion of fairly complete references with words and abbreviations like act, sc.,line, and so on make it tempting to cheat. But this is minor -it's a great app.

Easy to use, great way to pass the time. I'd love to see more variety of authors, but it appears the app isn't frequently updated.
For the literate, this game a recurring, endless joy.

There is no better game available. It is difficult but rewarding. It can be played and played without ever becoming stale or boring. I'm approaching 3000 quotes, still loving it. It rewards me with some of the most beautiful, deepest, most thought provoking words in our language and fills my idle moments with lingual beauty. If you are literate and love our language this game is not really a game, it is an endless lovely journey.

If you swap a correct letter I wish it would turn gray and get underlined so we would know yes, that is correct

I like this game and play it regularly. But lately I've been noticing that the quotes are mostly rather dark. It would be nice if you could mix it up with some different, maybe even humorous quotes. Thanks for considering.

You can choose easy, medium or hard. Have completed over 1200 hard games and counting, at 100 per cent success rate. Once you get the hang of it, the only hard part is stopping!
