Ads ruined the app

Md. Luigi

Too many adds and other nonsense and irrelevant articles or articles that aren't posted in a timely manner. Deleting app and never installing again

Now you're into politics?!

BradByrd

I thought Engadget was supposed to report on technical news. Now they just trash the President. I'm deleting the app.

Amazing

Pop-up adds automatically opening App Store

Squatting Hen

Engadget, WTH? Why when I am reading an article, not touching anything, I am taken to the app store to download an app from an ad in your app? Also....Why is he app using over 1 GB of storage on my device....??

I read it daily; 1 reproducible crash today

87830

I was surprised at the low ratings, I like reading about gadgets Today's article about Facebook bot that learned to lie (June 14th, 2017) crashes about 3 seconds after opening, and has happened 3 times tonight My iOS is up to date Still like the app, my foto for gadget fix

Stutters on an IPad Pro?

TrevEB

Not only does this app clunk along on my iPhone 6 and iPad Pro. It also gets stuck in portrait mode after reading an article while in landscape mode. Only way to fix it is to reset the app. Then your back at the top and have to find where you left off. Can we go back to the old version please.

Great articles ruined by nightmare app

joe`1234567890

I love a lot of the articles but this app is the worst one on my phone by far. Huge memory hog, doesn't load giant sections of articles, impossible to read some of the articles through the app due to formatting issues (such as recommended reading articles), and now worst of all they starting having autoplaying video ads. If these video ads are not removed by the next update, I am going to delete it for good. Also, it completely destroys my battery (my phone normally lasts all day but when using this app it's not unusual for me to lose 10% of more of my battery in 15 minutes despite that being 1-2% with other third party apps)

Engadget

D. Hill

This Engadget application is a well designed news source for various topics in the technology industry such as gaming, tech products, and the science that involves them . The app can also be used to read the latest reviews and watch videos as well. The app makes it easy to subscribe to topics you want to follow. After choosing your preferred topics you scroll up and down your customized news feed. The app also makes it easy to save articles to read later or share with others. While not as robust as a CNET in terms of daily text and video content Engadget is a worthwhile secondary more niche focused companion.

Terrible

MaesterMeister

Engadget used to be my go to source, but ever since they started with the adware the app has completely gone downhill

New app is terrible

Maverick the Patriot

Which of you geniuses moved the images to the right side. Terrible move! Think about it. We read from left to right and we like seeing the images first before we begin reading the text. Change it back to the way it used to be!
