Re-installed app and VPN profile and iOS is refusing to connect due to an expired certificate - any ideas? This is my only paid VPN service...

I know my password is right and I reset it two times and the password error message pops up
you need to see clearly
App seems to automatically route to foreign countries and needs to be reset and loaded often

Edit 2 After a decade with this company, I’m ending my subscription as it no long works when it is needed. It has been months since it has protected me on an untrusted network. I’ve tried rebooting. I’ve tried deleting the VPN profile and reinstalling it. I’ve tried the two together. Nothing works. Why am I paying for something that no longer has use. For a while I’ve thought I’d look at other VPNs as there are many with a kill switch ( overcloak ). When I had found one I’d switch but I’m just out. I’m sad. This was once a solid, leading edge company. OP Certificate Expired! Worst possible time and no explanation as to how to fix Edit 1 The developer say log out and back in again. First, where on your website is this documented? More importantly, how can one do this when one is on an untrusted network without exposing ones data???? There is a simple tech fix. Contact me if you need support on that.

I’ve tried out a lot of the non-scammy / non-sleazy VPN solutions for macOS and iOS and Encrypt.me, a long-time go-to (from way back when it was called Cloak and it worked so much better then, too) remains the one I use most. Very easy to use, and it works across all your PCs and iOS doodads. Unfortunately, it goes through periods where it’s very unstable, like now, and the VPN connection will often go out and stall your connection to the internet, or it’ll just flip out and not connect at all until you restart the device. I don’t see this problem occurring on my Mac. It just happens on my phone. I don’t know if it’s my ISP jerking around, or if it’s AT&T fouling things up, but the VPN connections are very fragile and very unstable lately. The phone will disconnect from the VPN all day long, every day for the past two or three weeks, to the point that it’s basically not using the VPN unless I go to the settings app and manually toggle the VPN off and then back on. Pretty useless, if you ask me, and since the only common element is Encrypt.me’s app and VPN servers, that’s probably where the problem lies.

Previously used Norton VPN. Norton was slow to connect across all devices. I had to wait and wait to connect to the internet. Encrypt.me works so seamlessly that I don’t even know it’s there. And it’s fast.

Frustrating. Constantly waiting for it to connect, often having to go to the app to get it to connect.
