Capital One charges will not update

volfan

When I first downloaded this app, I loved it. However, about a week after getting it set up, the feed from Capital One just stopped updating, making it totally useless for me as all of my spending is on the Capital One Venture card. I emailed support and after a couple of days they said to delete Capital One and re-install it. This caused me to lose all the data I had categorized and it did not fix the issue.

Can’t log into my main accounts

jewel game fan

I downloaded the app and was able to add my credit cards from a few apps then my main bank account, auto loan and credit card with Capital One will not allow me to log in or add account. I emailed and received notice back that Empower is having trouble across the board with Capital One....this is my main account holder so the app with Empower is useless if I can’t add my Cap1 accounts. Have to delete

Don’t get too excited

Misskitcate

Given bad information from one of their customer support advisors and then disappointing information from another. Haven’t really been able to use the app because I’ve been penalized for the bad information I’ve been given. Support had no desire to right the wrong either. Maybe you should write in your FAQ somewhere about these “limits”. Took 100% of the excitement out of finding what could be a perfect app for my household. Still waiting several more days since my 15 day lock out to see if the app is worth it.

AMAZING APP

PatrickBoi

This app is so amazing great for those needing to help manage their spending habits with money, or set saving goals with money as well. If only I know about this app sooner, I could’ve been a lot smarter with my money. Would definitely reccomended to anyone working a job, or anyone with bad spending habits. Very useful, informative and adjusts to your liking.

Let Facebook Manage Your Finances

These people rip off your personal financial information and sell it to credit card companies. Is your financial information secure? Hell no! “How can we improve ?” they ask. “Stop categorizing all purchases to Amazon as groceries “ I reply. “We can’t please everyone “ they say. Then they bill me the maximum possible the next day. Don’t say you weren’t warned. These people are mud slugs.

Great app

Adonis Taylor

It’s really a good app and worth it if you sign up for the premium member. Which I don’t mind because I can keep track of my business income and outcome. One minor issue is I try to make a payment inside the app to my credit cards so I can do it in one shot but it always says my name on my account doesn’t match but it does. Hopefully there will be an update soon.

Great UI but functionality is useless with Chase

Dbsxbggykcrfcxgh

While customer service has been responsive, the app simply doesn’t work. I’ve had over $3k of transactions this month and it only shows $628 dollars. Customer service said they put in a request to fix it but don’t have any control over whether the issue is even addressed by tech. Looks like I’ll have to cancel subscription until updates are rolled out. If you have Chase as a bank, look elsewhere for now.

Fantastic, better than any other

visionpoint

Empower is consistent all around: UI, connections to the banks, etc. One thing that’s a problem with OTHER apps such as Mint is that every few days you seem to need to login again to one of your accounts, which is a hassle. Overall, with Empower I can get beautiful and useful budgets, editable categories, graphs to see my account history and limits, and a lot more. The best by far after years of trying several other apps.

Not worth paying

Ljo76

It advertises as a “budget” app, but you have to pay for more than one budget item. Sorry, but I’m not paying $35 a year for the same functionality I can get for free. $5 maybe. Mint, clarity, and level all do the same thing and they are all free— AND clarity checks credit score. Sorry, not happening.

Never been so disappointed

Dinkleman888

I have read nothing but great things about this app. I was very excited to download it. I literally can not get a single thing to work. Every time I try to add an account it just says "null" with no explanations. I deleted and re downloaded the app 3 times just trying to get it to work. Nothing. I've literally beaver been so disappointed with an app.
