Fun enough to play in a non committal way. Don't spend any money on the little bonuses though. The random loot boxes rarely give what their enticements tease you with. Hero characters are often imbalanced. Interactions and battles are artificially limited. Still, fun enough to check in and play the puzzles which are amusing and do not grow in difficulty in that Candy Crush way. Slowly build up your Castle and your heroes. As long as you are not in rush, you will make it eventually. If you want something quicker, spend money on a game that gives you what you pay for.

Raids are just atrocious... nothing about the raid matchups work like a well made game. The gem matching is made to keep matching At 3-4 per match which is understandable otherwise hero’s may become useless and clearing the board with gems would become more likely... that being said it makes the game dull. I almost gave it a 1 star but I do like the thought of the game

I have been playing this game since August 2017. Was pretty fun to begin with. Seems like the developers don’t listen to the gamers even though they ask for suggestions. The raid matchups are completely one sided. No option for private chat with alliance members. The randomness of your summons are also a problem. You could spend money until your broke and not do any better than someone playing for free. With every update the game gets less fun and more money oriented. I have watched a lot of good players give up and just quit playing. I will be boycotting any game made by small giant in the future as they seem to only make games designed to get you to spend all your hard earned cash with very little respect for the players.. Maybe once people stop downloading their games they will start trying to make games their players will enjoy playing again!!

Just got this Jan. 31. Have to have WiFi on to play. Don’t have where I live. Now I’m angry!!!!! Really liked it. Bye bye empire.
