Rigged

The game is made to draw the most money out of you as possible. You can spend $1,000 and not get what you want or even need because everything is “random” with odds of getting good items and heroes so low it’s discouraging. I’ve been playing for 8 months and still don’t have a competitive team of heroes and that’s after spending over $2,000 on this game. Avoid this game if you think it will be free. It’s really a money pit.

New games, new names, same problems

A needlessly elaborate schematic designed to confuse you into thinking you can play for free. Quickly gets too hard to do so. But more than the standard and expected money grab is the baffling added difficulty thrown at you to actually *play* the basic puzzle game. Upgrade a web of buildings in a long linear series to Recruit heroes to train heroes up levels to ascend heroes of five different types. With taking days to move each step. Why stop your gamers from playing? 1 star not for the money grab but the inane thoughts in the "boardroom" that this style of play is likeable by those that play puzzle matching games. Speaking of money grabs though. This developers here are masterclass. You can (and will) pay hundreds of dollars (I have spent close to 1000 on this game) buying *chances* to get what you need. And the chances are (not surprisingly) near zero. Exact chances? Guess. And you won’t have to guess who figured out that in their boardroom? You will be laughed at in that boardroom. Key items are kept from you from fully ascending you heroes though which can’t be bought. Ascending them *if* you get lucky and pay money is amazingly difficult at higher levels with months of grinding (during which time you will be spending more money). Honestly this game makes you wonder why anyone would deal illegal drugs. Here the developers have found something more profitable, zero material cost and somehow legal.

Unexpected error

I purchase vip and a couple days later I try to get gems and now it says unexpected error try again later. Well it’s been like three days and not fixed. What’s going on?

Empires and puzzles

Could be a fun game... but the basic premise of the game is to separate players from their money, i have been playing this game everyday for like 6 months and not one 5 star character, at present only 4 4 stars. I encounter players in raids with way less experience and have all 5 stars. So i surmise that if you want to play you must pay. Also have not been able to ascend any character to level 4 due to inability to get needed materials. Very frustrating.

Fun Game

I play this during every passing period at school. Love the auto play feature!

Fun to play, but super stingy

I enjoy playing this game to kill time. It’s a familiar puzzle game with a twist of battling villains. Don’t waste money on gems, though. I would rate it higher, but it is irritating that they entice you with, “Look what you could get for x # of gems” then you do it and every time it has given me crap that I could get for beating an easy level or 2. I probably wouldn’t have been so irritated if I had not purchased the gems.

No need to pay to play- a huge plus.

I typically play console, and I'm surprised to see myself pretty entertained with this game. I've been playing for about 2 weeks now, and the player interaction is some of the healthiest I've seen- it's pretty refreshing. Other games require you to pay to even feel like you can compete, but not this game. I feel the game has a very fair competitive system. I personally will never put money into a mobile game, so it makes a huge impact on me, knowing this game allows those who chose not to give cash to feel included. Other than that, there is always something to do, and it's never just a single objective. Don't feel like leveling up your characters? Level up the town. Don't feel that? Fight the titan. Not feeling that? Battle other players. Most games get too difficult to pass at some point, but with the leveling-up aspect, it's very stress-free. Overall, this is a great game to play when you want to just chill out. Just a stunning, smooth and soothing experience so far. I highly recommend it for when you can't sleep and night you're just trying to take your mind off things.

Fun game, but there are flaws

MyReview867

First of all, I enjoy the game. It’s fun and there’s usually something you can do, either by attacks or raids or chatting with alliance members. However, the raids function is seriously flawed. I am a new player and the highest amount of trophies I’ve ever had is 30. I get matched against people who have 250+ trophies and I lose in 5 turns or less. How is that fair? Oh sure, if I win, I could get a lot more trophies but the likelihood of me winning against them are slim to none. Also, it would be nice if buildings were a little more balanced. I have been running out of food with a ton of iron available or vice versa and it hinders my progress. Thank you.
