Update needs to open photos

Chuyluy

All this really needs is the ability to open photos/ pixel art from your photo gallery. If you receive pixel art via email, how can you open and change it. And the trace tool isn't that great since it still leaves the difficulty of having to match the colors. And the interface could be better, but I'm not complaining. It's worth the 2 bucks, just needs refinement.

Don't misunderstand it

Just to let you know, this is a great app. If you need app that is good for pixel art, this is the only one that helps you the most and the most appropriate tools for it. This is not a simple drawing tool, if you didn't notice that. Also, some people complain about importing. You can only import TO PC's application, EDGE, not import from PC to iPhone.(btw sorry, I'm not sure if EDGE is usable for mac) it's just like dj tool app called iMaschine- not that you know it. iMaschine will let you creat a decent music, but you'll end up getting a actual Maschine to finish the job. Same idea goes here. Besides, drawing a perfect pixel art for D0, D4, HD size would be notouriously difficult just with this app. Also I don't think you can invisiblize the color with this app either. In the end, this app is more like supporting app of the PC application EDGE. It still works, and person who needs to make D4 size animation but has college classes and can't sit on the computer to do it, it will be a lot of help. However, this app -can use import support. Not required though. -crashes quite often. May need update to fix that. I would only recommend getting this if •you have PC •needs pixel art-to-go and finish up at home with EDGE •you have PATIENCE. It takes time to draw a pixel art. It won't be a doodle time.

Ok. But needs work.

This could be a very nice app but it needs some work. To start with, It's very cluttered and distracting. The tools don't need to be so big. They take up 30% of the screen. It wouldn't take much to clean this up and make it much nicer to work with. It is bit frustrating to see no updates coming. So much work to get this app to where it is, why not polish it?. For now there are much better pixel editors out there. But this could be a contender. If only.

Cool!

Perfect for creating isometric pixel art and video game sprites. I like the ability of saving color palettes, which is a great feature.

Hands down, BEST pixel art editor!

I've tried a ton, and this one takes the cake! There's layers, animation, .gif export, and a ton more awesome little features! I'm using this app to create artwork for my upcoming iOS game :)

It's great

This app is the best app on the AppStore for pixel art. You can make simple to complex animations, have hundreds of colors on your palette and any color. The only problem with the new update I when I export my drawing to my photo gallery it's a little blurry so I usually have to take a screen shot to get a crisp image. It's kind of disappointing but it will probably be fixed and still my favorite app for pixel art!

Best Pixel Tool

Great app. Has more features than a lot of the others ones on the AppStore.

Really nice!

Compared to other pixel drawing apps, this one is by far my favorite. Has all the features and is easy to use. I'm very satisfied. :)

Missing important feature

Importing custom images!

Just what I was lookin for

Ive been searching for a good pixel art app, either for my tablet or my phone. And this is the best out there. I love love love making pixel art on the go anywhere i want. Even church. The only thing i would ask the devs to add would be a different method of choosing the desired colors. I love the side palette, but when switching out and modifying shades and tones of colors, its a bit confusing with the scales. If there was some sort of palette with a rainbow of colors to slide a crosshair over in order to select, i think it would be an easier means of selection. Other than that, maybe the ability to change opacity of separate layers. Otherwise FANTASTIC!!!
