Great cause and such an easy way to help, even if it’s in a small way. I’d definitely recommend for that reason alone! I’ve only been using it for a few days, but no problems so far. My only complaint is that when I close out the app, it closes my open browsers, safari kept them open even after closing the app.

Good premise but needs more work

I love the opportunity to give back with my searches. However it's very limited compared to the Safari or Chrome browser. Ecosia freezes while loading sometimes and won't let you scroll down. While filling in forms, it won't let you click on the textboxes. When you image search, it won't let you save to camera roll. I use this anytime I need a SIMPLE task done. Anything more than a simple search, I'll take my queries to safari or Chrome :(

We all need to take care of the environment through everything we do like going vegan, using less plastic or none, and trying to produce less trash, and turning off the lights and water when we aren't using them.

I think the point of Ecosia is awesome, I'm trying to convince my school to use it, or at least unblock it (because we use laptops) and teach us about it. I hope my school will unblock it so I could use it regularly.

I love using the app but I recommend allowing you to scroll through images when you click on one image

The app functionality is incredible. It is significantly less complicated than the google app and doesn’t keep all of the hidden information and cookies from you. It is super transparent, the basic use goes to a good cause and it’s a better process than google or any other search engine
