This sounds cheesy but this app is honestly a dream come true! I get really bad paranoia about google and apple stealing my personal info and selling it to advertisers and Ecosia does NOTHING of the sort! They actually respect your privacy!!! I love it!!!!

I loved the idea and got it as soon as o found out about it. I was worried that it would be difficult to switch from using safari and other search engines all the time to this one, but to my surprise I find it more convenient in some areas. The only thing I’d like is to be able to open links in a new tabs or in a background tab like with other apps. Love it though!

Essentially a google where you can feel like you’re making a difference, every time you hit that 45 you feel like you’re doing something to help the world.

I would like (and use) this app a lot more if it had a “duplicate tab” option, an option to open a search result in a new tab, and if opening a favorite didn’t overwrite an already open tab. The lack of these features makes it frustrating to use this app for quick, on-the-go research.

But there could be a little improvement on the search engine. I like using ecosia but there’s some things that are just easier to use chrome for like looking up shoe prices, food places near me, etc. And other times it can get a little buggy. It’s not a bad search engine though, and I love what the money is used for. It just needs a couple minor improvements.
